Question about blogs, annonymous comments and IP addys.

Hi, i have a question about people using Blogger.

If someone leaves a comment on your blog, but does it annonymously, is there a way of finding out their IP address or general location.

The reason i ask is because my girlfriend has had a couple of petty and childish comments left on her blog, nothing major but if it continues it would nice to know who is doing it.

We have a rough idea who it could be, but obviously don't want to accuse the wrong person. Maybe there is a way you can block access to the blog to that one person?

There are a number of free trackers you can add to her blog.

I use

www.activemeter.com...

Another one is

www.statcounter.com...

and this is one I found just by using google search.

www.tracemyip.org...

Another one is.....

www.ritecounter.com...

Some will display on the site itself to let the person know their location is noted.

All Free to use.
