A majority of Germans want debt-ridden Greece to be thrown out of the euro zone if necessary and more than two-thirds oppose handing Athens billions of euros in credit, a poll published on Sunday showed.

Vocal opposition to aid for Greece from members of Chancellor Angela Merkel's coalition also grew at the weekend with several senior politicians expressing skepticism, especially as Germany's own recovery is fragile.

The Emnid poll for Bild am Sonntag newspaper showed 53 percent of Germans asked said the European Union should, if necessary, expel Greece from the euro zone.

Athens has struggled to convince investors it is tackling its debt crisis and markets are nervous about a default.

So the Germans want Greece out of the Eurozone. I can't say I don't blame them. Greece is dragging them down into the pits of hell, but even if they kick Greece out they may fall anyways.

Our Bankers and Wall Street through the power of Derivatives and false promises of the future have lured some EU states into paying for later what they want now.
Greece has a time bomb in its financial statements that will come due in a few years. Only A LOT of euros will save Greece. It won't be the last to fall to the new power of the US.

debt ridden countries are retarded and flawed. The average Greek probably does not know how addition and subtraction works or they wouldn't have come to this point.

A country is a reflection of its citizens.

Offensive and inaccurate. Why did you feel that was pertinent to this discussion?
