let me be clear here

I believe that you guys probably didnt experience any type of universe shift or whatever you want to call it

but, you probably experience the thing that most of the people in this world experience: poor education

its simple, I really believe that and thats probably whats happening

I think it was about a year and a half ago I started saying, "What is wrong with people and the world lately... Its like I woke up one day and the world had changed and alot of the people along with it?" Americans were suddenly open to socialistic ideas and freedom was overrated? Wtf? It seemed to me that everything was turned upside down. What was important a few years ago, honor, truth and basicly just doing the right thing for ourselves and future gererations has given way to selfishness, live for the moment and as long as it feels good to you... go for it. Not to mention a total disreguard for how our decissions today affect future generations.

So for the past year and a half I have been living with a splinter in my mind that I just cant put my finger on what is wrong.

My eye cought the original thread concerning people remembering different things in their timeline which made me think about some small things that happened to me that I originally brushed off as I must be mistaken. Wont bore you all with the details. Then I saw the thread about Australia and New Zealand I thought it was total BS untill I pulled up some maps, new and old, and was blown away to find out that Australia was in a different place than I remember it. I have brought this up to some of my more open minded friends and found out they also share the same memory on the locations.

Because there is no way to prove or disprove any of this because the only evidence here would be our memories, any research into the past in this reality would match this reality even if you remember something different. Pulling up old maps in this reality will get you exactly that, maps of this reality. Some people cant grasp this thought because they believe the world revolves around themselves and they get confused about what we are talking about here. This reality did not change around you, your conciousness moved to a different reality. Why? who knows. How? I have a theory. Links First...

Now here is the kicker... The next morning we get the Norway Sky Spiral!
www.foxnews.com...

But it gets a little tricky here because I remember the spiral happened the day after the success of the LHC but everything I find on the net says the spiral happened wednesday Dec 9th. I SPECIFICALLY remember it on wed Dec 2nd the day after, not a week later.

I remember this clearly because I have a blog where I post interesting and unusual things. I check the news every day and when I first heard about the Norway Spiral I instantly thought to myself "Wow, the LHC just possibly captured dark matter yesterday, then we have the Norway Spiral today. I guess they didnt want the dark matter to get unstable and blow up so they must have used it as an energy source for whatever project they need it for." Then I thought Wow ATS will be a buzz from this happening, I cant be the only one that noticed this. But no threads came.

No one seemed to notice the LHC sucsessfully did what it was supposed to do then less than 24 hours later we get the Norway Sky Spiral.

So call me a nut all you want. I think this converging realities topic has merit and something to do with the Large Hedron Collider, HAARP and the Norway Sky Spiral.

I guess the big question is was this done by accident or design?

Hi Waiting2,

There were a good few bombings in Ireland in the late 1980's. Here's 1987 as an example:

Chronology

If you're thinking of later (circa 1989), then there does seem to a discrepancy with what you remember and what's recorded. There seemed to be very little in the way of bombings within Ireland itself - the shift seemed to go more to mainland Britain:

Chronology

All very interesting

Hello,
If I may make an observation...
Years-ago when I was a youth, there on walls would be people's graffitti art. Simple stuff really. But next to each persons artwork/scribble/what-have-you; they'd put the date there too. Like "John was here 5-3-'79." Now a days, nobody bothers to note the date of their inscription. That kind of stuff troubles me slightly. Odd?

Edit spelling again!

these days graffiti gets buffed (removed) so quickly that there is little point in dating it. Unless you know a large peice is going to burn (stay) for awhile then there is no point.

this is stupid.

you know how in time travel movies, the time traveler or guy who is friends with the time traveler but isn't a time traveler always remember things from opposite timelines but no one else does?

well, there's nothing special about you, the time traveler, or the time traveler's friend. by altering the past, you prevent memories from the future because memories are ingrained in your brain via neural network protein additions and are physical imprints in normal matter (false memories can actually be created in the lab by messing with this) the same way 'memory' in a flash drive is just a physical imprint on the drive's surface. you know, the way 'memory' of a CD is just notches but the surface of the CD by a laser.
just like the ball that moves in timeline A and not B, and all the other people in B who don't have memories of A because it never happened to them - even if there were time traveling going on here, you, in B, wouldn't have memories of A and vice versa.

not to mention the fact that thinking you're time traveling is ridiculous, this proves it logically impossible, at least the knowledge of other timelines part of your claim.

Timeshifts..whoa

I lived in the uk til 86 then moved to sydney for 20 years, before moving i studyed everything about Oz as you do when you move.
This included maps and yes NZ was in the same place back then as it is now, also i lived in Hobart Tasmania for 2 or 3 years and its also been in the same place as always, the ass end of oz.

Mendela - i saw him a couple of years ago alive n kicking.

The only thing that i talk to mates about is the news tape of Bin Laden a month before sept 11 saying that something big was going to happen in america, it was a prewarning...anyone else remember this or am i the only one ?

I dont remember much about my childhood (missing time?) but i remember being taken on a ship, put on a table and some japanese looking people stood over me, for ages i thought i was asian, this is an inhouse joke with my family which gets told every christmas when the whole familys here.
Now I have a hole in my chin where no hair grows.

Timeshifts, who knows if its true but imo people experiance things completly differantly to everyone else, no one has the same feeling as another maybe thats what this is ?

no one is saying that it cant happen, but as I said above, the most simple explanation is probably the correct one: poor education, poor interpretation ...

Nope, no one can prove or disprove that some of us have moved to a more different version of reality than is normal, perhaps some of us are just a bit more aware or have some higher ability than the average joe.

One BIG question:

How many Australians Are convinced and are sure of the whole NZ/ country changed/ movement thing? Have some true aussies answer it in the positive, and THEN you have something.

This is my first comment at ATS. I find the site interesting and entertaining but generally do not agree with conclusions drawn. I'm a very skeptical person.

I do feel compelled, however, to kick in my two cents. With the caveat that I firmly believe there is a rational, non-time-shifting, non-universe-shifting, not paranormal explanation for all of this ....

I too, distinctly remember the death of Billy Graham and the subsequent spectacle of the funeral. It was in Charlotte, NC, and carried on television. I remarked at the time that I thought he went so soon after his wife because they just couldn't bear to be apart. Why I remember this I don't know. Possibly confused memory anagrams. But it is nevertheless interesting that others have this same false memory.

I, too, distinctly remember Australia being far isolated from Asia, not pressed up against it. I wonder if we all shared a same misprinted textbook as children. My recollection of NZ is that it was to the north EAST, but that could just be memory again.

Like I said, I'm sure there is a prosaic explanation, but it's nonetheless fascinating so many of us have the same mis-memories.

Ok so after reading this thread and really thinking about what all this means a few things come to mind. I always feel like TPTB or whoever directs us or educates us ever so slightly using Music and Film. I'm talking the big network and RIAA type material not indie music or film.

TV Shows
LOST & Flash Forward: both by JJ Abrhams but are teaching the masses weekly about timelines and new ideas of how time travel might work etc. Think of this as a major upgrade from the Marty McFly days of I go back in time and change something etc or even 12 monkeys style time travel. We are being shown and taught quantum mechanics / cutting edge ideas here folks through these shows.

Movies:
Dark City: i loved this movie and it was about people living in a society / city which is always dark and they think everything is just fine... Well stop reading if you don't want it ruined but the city is actually a spaceship and aliens implaint and change around peoples memories nightly to do experiements etc etc. One day an avg joe is aked hey how do you actually get to Shell Beach, the guy starts out with "yeah thats easy you just take the ....." and cannot remember the rest.. Kind of applies a little to the ideas we are talking about here.

Steven King: The Langolears (spelling?). I remember seeing this on TV and it was cheesy but for some reason had an errie truth to it in regards to dimensional portals etc. Time management pac-mans were kinda laughable though.

Any other good Movies, music or other influences that help show or make the points here of time shifting?

ATTENTION

Stay on track with the topic.

This thread was not made to be harassed, most individuals admit their memories are not perfect, this thread is designed to find a KEY event in history that is not what we remember it as.

Some people only remember one atomic weapon being used in WW2 which is very interesting, because one thing that is hard to forget is the use of a atomic weapon.

I am alerting the mods, so all of those who wish to ridicule other people, get the hell out of our thread.

Another good idea is to go to the library and check the oldest maps they have.
Everyone at one time or another has feelings the things have changed. And if someone else expresses those feeling, then it re-enforces the belief.
This is a tactic used in mind control, though it is sometimes used by accident by those that have no clue as to what they are doing. Hence "mass hysteria".

Hi all,

I admit that I am a product of the US Public Education system. That education had always served me well I believed. That stopped when I saw the map of Australia.

That didn't look right. Australia was always a lot further south that anything coming off of Asia.

Maybe I'm remember the same badly drawn map from elementary school that other are or there is something to this.

I definitely can't prove a thing because the only evidence I have is my memory. Asking me to give you evidence is impossible since I can't go back in my timeline and retrieve what caused that memory. The only thing I can do is reference old maps in this time line.

I'm not even saying I believe it myself. I'm not trusting my own memory.

As for our other benchmarks. I knew Mandella was alive because I remember him appearing on TV many times once he was released and also appearing at the end of Malcolm X. I did belive Billy Graham had died. The strangest one is Fats Domino. I really did think he died in the mid-80s, then I saw his picture not long ago on a web site after a performance of his. Weird.

To the debunkers. Why bother? You're obviously remembering the events of this timeline perfectly. We aren't.
