We got rid of Saddam Hussein and his sons.
We do not go to other countries, invade them, kill their people, and occupy afterwards just to get rid of a man with some kids that
we propped
up in the first place. I don't care if you say, "well, yeah, we did it!" People used cyanide as medicine at one time, too. Doesn't mean we get
a fever and go drink a bottle.
Look at Iraq today.
Yes, I only had 12 dozen roses and 36 boxes of chocolates arrive from the Iraqi people to my office last week.
Better yet go over there and ask the Iraqi people if they like
Iraq better now. There are good people there. They just needed to get rid of that dictator. We did the right thing. You just can't see it right
now
but you will.
Oooh. I see it. The question is, do you?
There will come a time, it may not be tomorrow, it may not be next year, but there
will be a time when something is going to happen in this
country that will be similar in nature to the events of "killing Saddam and his sons." With the disgusting display from both "sides" of
"politics" there will be more than likely half a nation of fools that will celebrate the deaths of the opposing side. Revenge is just that, revenge.
I will not call it a sin, nor will I say it's "immoral," but only one thing comes from an act of anger and hatred, and it isn't peace.
