Israeli mayor to unleash bulldozers in Al-Quds

The mayor of Jerusalem Al-Quds is pushing through plans to raze dozens of Arab properties southeast of the city, claiming that the structures are 'illegal.'

On the orders of Nir Barkat, the Israeli municipal staff of the city have begun coordinating with the police before bulldozers are set on the Silwan neighborhood, Israeli newspaper The Jerusalem Post reported on Sunday.

The neighborhood houses an already deprived and overcrowded Palestinian community in the shadow of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Quite the tactic they have. They just suddenly declare the houses to be "not up to code" and suddenly they have the right to bulldoze Palestinian neighborhoods in Jerusalem.

To all you Israeli #^$%-riders, please explain your logic on how you can defend these kinds of actions. I can see no justification for bulldozing houses that have been grandfathered in. Now these families get to live in tents, cause Israel won't allow supplies in to build new houses. Incremental genocide.
