Too many times, I read here at ATS how we are all slaves to the NWO. How the NWO/TPTB/Illuminati are holding us back and keeping man from attaining spiritual nirvana. To me it's just another way of saying "the man is keeping me down."

Well, if you were "free" and not a NWO, military complex, corporate slut....what would you do? How would you live? What would you eat? Where does your electricity come from? Who would build your microwaves and computers? Where would you get your "hot pockets?" If you could live however you wanted, how would you do it?

Are you gonna build a cabin? ... live off the land and work on that spiritual expansion everyone heralds? You gonna keep living where you are? Where and how are you gonna do it? Maybe a commune in the hills overlooking LA? Maybe a social/commune dairy farm in Vermont? Gimme some details folks.

Frankly, most people have these ideals, as do I sometimes, and we use contrived obstacles and imaginary enemies to hold us back or excuse our short comings. When we realize that this is the world that we live in, for better or for worse, and we learn to advance ourselves by education, nightschool, investing and saving, working hard and sacrificing, spiritual growth and foundation, and we make a good life for ourselves...that is enlightenment.... the power resides in us. If we choose to sit on the couch and eat Doritos, watch X-Files and Star Trek, and wonder why we can't get ahead...it's not the NWO or "da man", it is us that's holding us back.

So, am I wrong? Why? How would you live and survive in your NWO-Free world?

because one lives in a system of societial restraints does not mean he/she is a "slave". your hyperbolic words and phrases falls on deaf ears, as far as i'm concerned. i have no wish to become a luddite, or to somehow "FREE" myself from the modern world. however, the progression of human life requires reason, logic, and critical thinking.

I couldn't agree with you more. I'm merely throwing out what is so often said here by so many. Basically, I'm asking them to "put up or shut up" so to speak. Sounds rather harsh, but its as simply put as one can make it.

The PTB keeps the world's population enslaved and miserable because they are afraid of what we would do to them if we woke up.

If we were to collectively forgive them and demand change, then no one would have to work 5 days a week, 9-5. We could use our technology more efficiently and feed the planet. But the ones in charge are so disconnected from reality and use their system as insulation from the 'sheeple' that they neither care about nor understand their so-called slaves.

Sure, it exists, a New World Order. Why so many people resent it is baffling, because never before has so many people in the world enjoyed such a high standard of living under extremely humane conditions. Maybe that's a problem in itself, but there's a reason to why the West won the Cold War, and why everyone else suspiciously is trying to emulate its development.

I wish that I could be a prole and accept the BS but my mind wil not accept it. Sometimes I wish that I could be a sheep and not think about the things I see and here - it would be so much easier to watch the box and be entertained, no thought is required.

But I cannot, so I am here

That may be true, but if not a 5 day work week...how many days do you work? So, on your days off...you going to a movie? Who pays the taxes to maintain the street so you can get there? Who's the poor "free" schlump that cleans the streets so you don't fell over tree limbs? Your ideals are goodf...but I want details. technology to better feed the world...whose picking those beans? You?

First off I would like to say: Yes, yes I do like being an NWO slave. Give me my hotpockets and SpikeTV and I'm set.

Aside from that, I've read quite a bit on here about how the NWO keeps government tech away from the everyday person. Doesn't that mean without the NWO, we would have flying cars, jetpacks, and free energy (cold fusion, of course) because it wouldn't be suppressed?

Personal Disclosure: I live on a farm that has been in my family for 150ish years, we get all our eggs and produce from what we raise. Unfortunately we had to sell our herd of Alpine goats when "the man" got on us about selling milk without proper licensing.

So what would you do with your time? Sounds like you would have a lot of it. By the way, who builds the robots? What do you eat...robots planting that stuff...hmmm. What happens when you have deer eating you soybeans? Who's paying for all of this stuff? If no one is working...where does it come from? And if they are working, are they doing it for free?

I'm right there with ya man. I too have a farm, and am so glad that the FDA and Ag Dept won't be requiring mandatory tagging of livestock here in NC. Good luck.

Working hard and education etc. may provide you with a good life, but how is it enlightening, what is the definition of a good life?

Good materialistically speaking?

The same reaction applies to your OP, if we all advance ourselves by education, nightschool,..working hard,..etc., who's gonna be the poor uneducated schlump that cleans the streets?

The advance you speak of in your OP, seems only an advance in the materialistic sense, it has nothing to do with spiritual growth or freedom.

You can "better" your life with the tools made available by those in power, but how will it set you free if they are still lying to us, keeping information from us, poisoning us, opressing us, mind controlling us?

Typical... just typical.

Confusing the greedy tyrants that attempt to control the entire world in order to fulfill their sick need for total power... with the advancement and hard work of the collective human species.

You really think the framers of the NWO had *ANY* input into the collective advancement of the human species?

Into technology?

Into the WORK?

No, they don't lift a FINGER.

They manipulate currency markets, they manipulate laws in their favor, they gain wealth through devious, and often illegal means...

And somehow that makes every single modern convenience and technology SOLELY DEPENDENT UPON THEIR RULE.

You need to get your perspectives in order son... because you are blind.

These Vipers have not contributed ONE SINGLE THING to humanity... NOT ONE THING.

Your argument is a straw-man... positing that our GLORIOUS BENEVOLENT TYRANTS are the source of all wisdom and advancement.

This OP makes me sick.

why is it that only the "OTHER" people are sheep...or are..."NOT ENLIGHTENED"???? we all have minds that we use to think with. maybe...just maybe, the rest of us are actually doing something about it in our own lives, that does not involve YOU knowing about it. maybe...just maybe, YOU are the one most astonished by your own discovery.

the NWO is a catchphrase in todays conspiracy society for anything they basically dont like about the world...its the boogieman.

Dont like 40 hour workweeks? blame the NWO
Dont like the fact that your not a millionaire? blame the NWO
Dont like how your favorite politician lost in the election? blame the NWO
Got a toothache?....etc

there is no actual NWO, its just a representation of things we(they) feel out of control about and so group all these things that frustrate them into some secret shadow government...from bankers, politicians, wallstreet, legislation, etc etc etc.

now...if the question is, I got the chance of living in a complex and advanced society or see them topple, work 4 hours a week farming and raising chickens to survive...I think I will remain part of the NWO world...what with computers and public sewers and all that...(and I actually quite enjoy my personal garden...but thats a hobby, not a constructive job for the advancement of mankind)

I would say get rid of the theatre I don't need it. Get rid of roads I don't it it. Get rid of cars, I don't need them. Get rid of the concrete jungle, I don't need it.

I would prefer the forest and the land and live and die by my own success or failure. I would rather spend a whole day working fields knowing that my effort is a direct cause of my ability to eat or have clothing. I would rid myself of everything materialistic. If I had a skill that could benefit others I would give of it freely without request or requirement for compensation. I would also be less comfortable and for a while suffer withdrawals from the addictions of this lifestyle but I would do it because I feel in my heart it is the right thing for me. I can't speak for anyone else but yes I would rather live at the mercy of the earth than at the mercy of governments and big business.

As for entertainment, I would write and spend days at a time harvesting hemp fibre for paper taking the weeks or months to produce enough to continue wirting for another while. I would watch nature and smoke and eat of it the aromatic flower, Cannabis and find in the world- I can only dream of as of now- new hardships and new joys.

I do not expect utopia as sorrow and suffering are of each other. So sorrow carves the bowl of the cup that joy may fill it.

Mind you NWO or not I want this.

I do not pretend there wouldn't be days, like now, where I would feel miserable but ultimtaley that life would be of my choosing whereas now I can only choose within the limited confines of the freedom I am allowed.

I respect your intent and believe that a revolution is born from ones actions and not words the problem is for my ideal life to be possible, money and its addiction and the myriad addictions is produces and the lifestyle extremes is encourages would have to be gone. A government that allows freedom on their terms regardless if the freedom wishing to be exercised harms no other, would have to disappear and humans, as a species, would need to think like me and I cannot nor would not ever want to force someone to live as I would have them live.

Cheers and Kudos on the good topic.

Im just waiting for enough people who could laugh at whatever goons they send out to go and create our own MONEYLESS, FREE, COMMUNES, ECO FARMS. We will grow our own food, invent incredible non polluting items, there will be no copyrights, no patents, no banks, high eductation. Schooling and educating will be the highest items. We will keep on top of all technological information, NO PRIMITIVE RESET BUTTON, and practice psi, and communciating with nature, especially telepathy, so no one ever can fool a single one of us again. No leaders voted in, JURY DUTY, management, done by the people for the people in the group, in rotating shifts.

And I don't support anything else, will not cooperated with anything else, will not compromise with evil.

I'm a sovereign being and would perform citizens on anyone that comes to my door.

All we need is numbers.

Anyone who doesnt wake up and group up with others to change is a traitor to the human race, however, unfortunately, having talked to many who havnt woken up, their eyes are so glazed, only rarely do they wake up from the spell they're placed under, so we have to wake people up, locally in our communities.

One way is to meditate, envision and manifest it. They have people controlled mentally, because our consciousness creates. So we can change this even starting in small groups of meditators.

In order to love or hate the NWO, you will have to understand Who or at least WHAT the NWO stands for.

Many cannot keep on spoonfeeding the less-informed, though as part of an awarness programme, many still do try. The least you can do is to read on materials about the NWO, and form your own opionions.

You cannot be lazy about it, for it concerns you and your next generations as well as mine.

There is nothing benelovant about the NWO, for in their pathetic and delusional attempt to create a homogenous world as the only way to rule and dictate human affairs, it will be genocidal nitemare based on Utilitarianism.

It's not for the lack of trying that opposition to such opposition to shadowy governmental manipulation grew. They failed and failed far too often to be of any further belief in their capabilities. Wars, corruptions and economic collapse is the general order of the day since the 60s.

Globalisation which only made the rich richer and the middle class disappear, creating a new casino called stock exchanges, climategate scandals and profit manipulating instead of acting upon necessary projects, etc, are but the more recent issues.

Dont take my word for it, find it out yourself, and then you will be in better position to comprehend, and make your own decision to live as a human the founding forefathers who shed blood for you should live, or revert back to monarchy and be a serf, serving your 'betters' who actually are ripping you off wholesale.

I guess it depends on someone's definition of a NWO Slave.

In my book, Capitalism differs from NWO slavery.

NWO slavery = DEBT.

Microwaves, hot pockets, homes, electricity, cable.
Are all niceties that people believe that they cannot live without.
OR need to pay others for.

People lived for centuries without these conveniences.

Slavery is when you have no choice in the matter. Like Inflationary worthless dollars requiring one to work two jobs and Federal income taxes for.

But Not necessarily property taxes, which pay for schools and services.

But Federal Income Taxes. You can choose not to pay them and risk going to jail. Many have tried and most have failed.
The judges are assigned to prevent the real law from being revealed.

I feel that the founding fathers had it right as far as the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are concerned.
And Apportioned taxes, based upon use, but NO FEDERAL INCOME TAXES !

Everyone has their own definition of happiness but ...

The founding fathers had purposely planned our system of Governance and it's supporting system of taxation to prevent what we have today. Which is a product of unlimited borrowing. An overgrown Govt, out of control spending and subsequent Debt servitude of the American people to repay the debt.

Admit it , that I like being a NWO Slave ?

I will provide you an answer to that question while I am filling out my Federal Income Tax returns.

LIVE FREE OR DIE
General John Stark

An experienced veteran with a reputation for being cool under fire, John Stark was chosen to lead troops from New Hampshire when the American Revolution began in April 1775. Stark's men played an important role in the Battle of Bunker Hill, but his most important moment came in 1777, when an invading British army threatened cut off New England from the rest of the colonies. Stark's victory at the Battle of Bennington in 1777 dealt a fatal blow to the British army, which was forced to surrender at Saratoga two months later in one of the most important American victories of the war. Stark would later express his reasons for fighting in an 1809 letter to the men who fought with him at Bennington: "Live free or die! Death is not the worst of evils."
