Mate this stupid meme of a conspiracy has been dated back to an old Risk map which DID have NZ out of place It is amazing how peoples minds hold onto these things. LINKY LINK LINK

No matter how many times you tell them...some people just don't want to hear the truth.

New Zealand moved...what will they come up with next?

Austrailia is way up north now.

And it has a spike up north, and Tazmania used to be far from Australia.

I remember Nya Zealand being to the NE of Aus.

Too little ridiculing devils... I KNOW darkness(es) are you shoooore you want to sit there with your little black eyes and lie to my face?.
Grow up & behave.

Darkness is not a carousel where you grin, runts.

Tasmania was north of New Zealand. Fiji was also further away.
The entire continent of Australia has moved north west.
Indonesia and Malaysia were not as close together.

us Australians just love screwing with peoples minds...

so once a week at night time we move our country to a new location....

we then kick back with a beer and laugh while the over seas airlines try and find us...

we just need one more ZPM then we can leave this doomed planet..

indeed...

Guys let the thread die before the fruit bats post again that this is "so true, the remember New Zealand being somewhere else" even if they could not find us or Australia on a map with instructions!

Most likely a change in mapping projection used by Google, Datum, Projection, Spheroid.
Least likely is event that take a hundred million years involving mass, density, friction, plate tectonics, ocean displacement, subduction, volcanism, and continental drift happening overnight.... nil.

I've been one who though NZ moved but I finally found my old school atlas from the 60's and it's how it is today, perhaps I confused it with new gunnea? No idea where this atlas is. I found it last year but have lost it again. In boxes in my garage I think.

I'm willing to think I was mistaken Australia still is a different shape to me though.

I think we just remember false things or might even get taught mistakes by teachers.

Yes . I loved that game !!
Didn't really focus on NZ in it though. Indonesia was the one to get in that region. Acquiring Alaska is key though.

Tasmania is drifting south now. It was closer to Australia before.
