Not that I am Catholic...I'm a Protestant, but I simply had to comment on this issue. It always saddens and angers me to see such an attitude against women. In this day and age in particular, it is to be hoped that everyone's ideas,strengths, abilities, and worth would be respected. These qualities do not relate to gender, and yet women had for so long been told to be silent, told that they are less capable, etc., simply because they are women.

I understand that people may have been raised with certain attitudes and beliefs and may even unquestioningly accept them because "it says so in the Bible" or "my parents (or other authority figure) believed this" .

What does your heart tell you about the effects of being so disrespected simply because of a personal characteristic like gender, race, age...?

He didn't convert. It was a political scheme. He did his sun rituals in private and was buried the same way. If he really converted wouldn't you think that he would of had a christian cermony?

Saying christianity is all about paganism is as generalising and misleading as saying that Islam is all about terrorism or Judeaism is all about world commerce. Honest you people should learn to show a bit of spiritual tolerence towards each others beliefs, they're all as valid/flawed as the next guys.
