Has anyone seen today's homepage of CNN? It shows the "newly released" photos of 9/11 and the photos of a smiling and waving Ahmadinejad side by side. Now the webpage design could be a coincidence but it the two photographs when looked together feels as if Ahmedinejad is waving goodbye to the crumbling towers.

Yep, pretty blatant messaging there.

Not a whole lot of reasons why CNN should be running a "new 9/11 photos" story on their headlines, right next to Iran.

Sensationalist journalism, appealing to the subconscious fears of the average dimwit who will see this headline and not understand or even recognize his or her fear. Message implanted, mission accomplished. Paving the way for future fear-mongering and war-drum beating.

YES. I saw this when I checked the site this morning. However, it's gone now.

I think it was in bad taste....

But subliminal? A hint of things to come? Maybe.

GUILTY BY ASSOCIATION.

By putting an atrocity like 9/11 next to someone the media portays as 'evil', 'Mad' or 'Despotic' , people will associate someone with something tragic. and therefore this person 'did it' or had a hand in it.
That in my book IS subliminal programming.

you CAN say that they are trying to make the guy a villain ... but I dont think showing just for a few moments would make a difference ...
