Just saw this story on ABC news. Sorry if it is a repost, but I was very interested in this technology and what kind of impact it may have on the future of spinal cord injury victims.

Imagine the implications if they could move from just paraplegics to quadriplegics? These people would be able to regain many functions thought long gone from their bodies. With the combined research of these new "upright wheelchairs" and nerve cell regeneration technology it could only be a matter of a decade or less when these people could walk again!

Here's an article on the nerve regeneration research:

Are there any ATS members out there who are currently confined to a wheelchair due to spinal cord injures, or do you know of someone (family member, friend, etc.) that would benefit from this? Please discuss, as I'm very interested in your views.
