Paul Czysz on Hypersonic Aircraft.
Paul Czysz is a Professor Emeritus of Aerospace Engineering (retired) at Saint Louis University, the former Chief Scientist for the National Aerospace Place (NASP) project, and the CEO of his hypersonic research company, Hypertech Concepts, LLC.
I feel this interview is a must read on the subject of hypersonic technology. It brings into light an airframe with a mach 6 ++ top speed that would be very possible with today's technology. I believe this disproves the myth that a hypersonic air frame is not possible. I believe it's possible,and I believe such crafts have been fielded. Do you remember the North Sea sighting? It was a big wedge Delta escorted by F-111s to a tanker aircraft through AARA 6A in 1989. There have been sightings of hypersonic aircraft operating out of Area 51. It quite possibly could have been the Infamous Aurora many have speculated about for so long,with its "doughnut on a string" contrails.

Some say the Aurora program is over I disagree.In October 2009, Fox News aired video of an Iranian missile test. An unseen object cuts through a cloud
directly above the missile test, at a speed that appears to be within the rumored speed range of Aurora. The object was reported as a UFO, however the
facts of the situation point to Aurora. No object is seen in the video, and some have speculated that the speed of Aurora is rendering it effectively
invisible to the human eye (and the camera). This is of course impossible since the aircraft would have to pass through the entire field of vision of
an eye or camera in one twenty fourth of a second. The video can be seen here:

I have red the thread and do not buy the shadow theory for obvious reasons.I also do not believe the video has been debunked.

There's no debate, it IS OBVIOUSLY the shadow of the rocket trail, but hey, what do I know

None of that matters, there is no copyright release on that site, so its still under copyright - the fact that you can download it from them does not allow you yourself to distribute it or republish it like you did.

This engine with (no afterburner) is more powerful than the J-58 SR-71 power plant in" full" afterburner. All this in an engine that is less than four feet long!

Thanks for the info on the Iran missile video.I found some links that suggested that was a recent sighting of a Aurora type vehicle.
I found a well written Discussion about Aurora.Here are some recent sightings reported in the article.
In March 2006, the History Channel broadcast a television program called "An Alien History of Planet Earth" which examined UFO reports in the context of secret military aviation programs. During the program, aviation journalist Nick Cook presented a satellite image of the continental U.S. showing a contrail allegedly originating in Nevada and extending over the Atlantic Ocean.The contrail was unusual, as it appeared different from other contrails visible on satellite images. The craft that produced those contrails was not visible on the image. Based on the details of the image, it was speculated that it indicated an aircraft flying at a speed of around 7,000 mph (Mach 10.5, or 11,265 km/h).

Although I find this information interesting I will be looking more into "beyond" the Aurora.Like the YJ102R Roll Royce and Lockheed Martin collaboration and GLOBAL RANGE HYPERSONIC CRUISE VEHICLE. Powered now we know by Rocketdynes TBCC. This is for a global range hypersonic cruise vehicle.
