What if we just had a worldwide basketball tournament for nation status? ( Fictional POTUS proposal

Then the top 3 nations would be superpower's, with 4th through 10th being runner's up, in case any nation failed economically, or say had a disaster or something. After the tournament we could all sit down for a cold beer, and relax a bit, sort of like say Octoberfest, but with say around 3.5 billion guest's. The tournament could be presided over by the PTB in order to allow for no hard feeling's, and if the ET's would ref it, that would be great, (anyone know how to get in touch with them and check to see if they are interested. ) So there it is, and that ought to solve all of these violent difficulties we've been having....also, someone's gonna have to bring snack's

Forgive me, I almost forgot, we are going to need a lot of court space, so any idea's as to where this could be held, would be spot on...

Of course cheerleader's are welcome, national costume's are encouraged, as this would lend to the overall unique atmosphere of the event, and any mascot's that each country wishes to have present, would be great....

Apparently this is not gonna happen, as it has just been announced that Kim Jong Il has pulled a hamstring, and word from Iran is that they have several players who pulled a firearm out in the locker room, thinking it was some kind of a joke during a fight.... Oh well, and it was looking so good too...Maybe next year

you would b better off going with the Football world Cup (thats round ball not eggball) lol....

It is the only true 'World Game' after all.... plus Americas not that good at it so the rest of the world would get a chance lol

Yeah, your probably right....lol But, the proposal was from the man himself, and I just don't see him having those kinda skill's...a little frail when it come's to contact sport's, full contact that is...no foul's in Football, at least not for getting hit legally....
