I don't think so. he reads the Huffington post and listens to NBC for news, and can't understand satire meant to insult hypocrisy in the white house. A normal person can understand how a word is used and meant. Ans so far as I now the snow can be found at the white house these days.

That's a serious question. I feel that if someone is going to sit around and post threads about one person's hypocrisy, they should do the same to the other side, or the side that they support. Otherwise, it's hypocrisy all over, and party politics. The same thing that has this country in the crapper.

I don't know you, so you may really believe this and this thread got the best of you, but both of you two have used the same rhetoric used to divide.

I didn't say that I agree with you on anything and no, I'm not coming to your side, but, when something is said that is right, it needs to be known, and what you said was correct. I don't like it if my best friend is doing it, yet, I do have a political preference and it is not with the democrats.

The Republicans, in other words, should walk away from EVERY moral stance they claim to have (to win over "values voters") until they get rid of every closeted homosexual, every pedophile, every racist, every crook, etc. etc., in their rank... riiiiight?

It's not about criticizing all politicians in the way you are making it sound.

It's about being honest about it. Here's what happens:
Palin does something stupid, the Liberals and those who don't really follow politics but say what others say are like "zomg she is so stupid...porn star..blah blah blah"

Then Obama does something, the conservatives and those who dont really follow politics say things like "zomg he is so stupid, hates white people, is a socialist, and isn't even a citizen"

Both are equally retarded.

Each time I see these threads on ATS it's upsetting because 99 times out of 100 it's going to be a bash, or attempted bash on the other side.

Having different political values is fine. Spending all your time pointing it out and bickering white not working with the other side is retarded.

Make no mistake...the party politics is not solely because some rich people said I'm a republican or I'm a democrat, but rather because they know it polarizes the country because we are that ignorant. We want the divide. It's on TV becaues it makes money. Stop playing the game and it will have to end.
