Actually I could see fighting the HealthCare plan as a very Christ like thing to do. Much like kicking over the tables of the money changers outside the Temple.

The proposed Reform is little more than forcing the people to purchase insurance through companies. It has nothing to do with government provided HealthCare. The only thing Universal about it is that non participation is met with punishment of fines. If this passes into law, the US still will not have the HealthCare like other Western nations.

Palin opposes it for her reasons, I oppose it because it is unconstitutional. Congress has no authority to legislate such compulsion nor to provide a Universal Health Care system. If they really want to do it, do it the right way and send an amendment proposal to the States for ratification. Congress will not do that because they know it would not pass the process of 3/4 of the States giving that power.

I personally dont know Sarah Palen so Im not gonna bash her at all .
To answer a couple of questions reguarding her quiting as Govenor .Who in their right mind wouldnt make a book deal for millions not a meere hundred k especially with help from the publisher and co writers who helped arrange it properly.
My honest opinion of her from what I can tell and not going by what I've read good or bad .Shes pretty much an average person of intelegence who got into politics thats all.
Abstenance is basically what every parent wants their kids to do ,...but in the end just about all kids are gonna hump reguardless of what we teach them...its called nature (for the really stupid Palen bashers here)
I also amazes me to see how many people bash her just because she was a republican candicate.
I also knew when Obama announced his run he was gonna win and just about every minority person would vote for him no matter what his history was after seeing him in office for a year I started asking why they voted for him.most of the replies were because he was black, different ethnic background, goodlooking, ect. then i asked what he had done for them and the majority of replies are, nothing, hes trying to fix healthcare, and thats all. noone if met could tell me one single thing hes done for them as president
I also asked if they were happy with him giving Billions awat to rich financial institutions they all said no

So when you start bashing Palin start thinking of what Obama has done for you they average peasant living in the good ole USA

Okay, that did it. I need proof that our President is a Muslim. Please prove that from a credible source...if not, then stfu.

I deliberately posted that to illicit this specific reaction from the hypocrites.

Wasn’t it you who posted this little nugget back on page 18 of this thread? Specifically this person is not a Christian remark. Where’s your proof?

CSIfan Wrote:
This is a person who is not a Christian.
This is a figurehead for the RETURN OF THE CONFEDERACY!

This just proves everything inside the ideology is good. Especially the lies. Everything outside the ideology is bad. Especially the truth.

Please stop being their tool.

i'd like some proof of that as well, since he attended a christian church for the last 20 years. maybe he's one of the black israelite movement folks? they share a common bond with islam in that they don't believe the catholic version of biblical history is accurate, although they do quote from both the old and new testament regularly they also don't believe the current inhabitants of israel are the true israelites and therefore have no real claim to the land, which is a sentiment shared by islam. but after that, i don't see much comparison.

well i take that back. they do share several old testament style punishments in common with islam. and their stance on women and polygamy is shared with islam.

It’s called " Black Liberation Theology " if you must know.

It’s a steamy hot cup of racism with a Marxist chaser. Dig into if you like. His church was the church of the racist Jeremiah Wright.

My response to this is very simple ad I'll add a little Sarah Palin content to make it adhere to the thread.

He is pushing a statist/socialist agenda and needs to be stopped at every point with no exception. He needs to be a lame duck as well as this current congress as it is made up.

Sarah Palin is saying this exact thing and this resonates with the educated disenfranchised. You may not be one but there are plenty to be sure.

More palinophobe BS. People, at least do a little research before posting things that make YOU look foolish.

truth

Actually for those of you being sarcastic you need to stop. I haven't found a source yet thats reliable saying she has done it herself, however she is in support of Aerial hunting where by you are allowed to hunt wolves on a helicopter.

SHE'S NEVER DONE IT, although there are sources that say she supports it - which even I don't agree with.

You forgot half of my post bud. Stop making yourself look "foolish"

Agreed..

People dont even think that if Government has control from cradle to grave then they have the power to say who gets a cradle and who gets a grave. Thats what ite really about. Controlled scarcity which creates a manufactued crisis. We all know you cant let a good crisis go to waste.

Long and short of it... she's a bloody half-wit. And there are millions of bloody half-wits all over this country that would love to see her in the White House.

She is one of the symptoms of what ills this country right now. Dumb is the new smart.
Thanks a lot Dubya... the bar was set so low for you, you paved the way for lightweights like Palin and her simple-minded minions to hijack the system.

christians didn't just spring up out of the ground, fully formed, 10 years ago
if the nation was okay before, and had christians in it (which it did), the idea that what is wrong with the country now is due to christians being here suddenly!!!!!!! is perhaps indicative of your data filtration system

What the bloody hell are you talking about?
I never even mentioned christians in my post.

I'm talking about the anti-intellectualism that is now in fashion.
Granted if any group embraces superstition it's christians, but I was speaking in general.

I think you need to examine your own data filtration system.

Look kid I never mentioned christians in my original post so go be a dipstick on someone else's dime.
There are plenty of dumb non-christians that support the Alaskan light weight.
You're making my point for me. Not that you even realize it of course.

It's Sunday so why don't you have a coke and smile and go praise your invisible sky daddy and leave the adults alone when they're talking.

uh huh. do "adults" always pretend they don't mean what we know they mean but won't say, because it's ugly? and let me see if i can count up how many stereotypes you planted in my pot just now:

1. kid.

2. dipstick. (oh is this what adult's do? call each other cute lil names? )
3. have a coke? ( don't drink the stuff)
4. invisible? so are atoms

so if i'm to understand you correctly, the millions of dimwits who are supporting sarah the republican (which you assume includes me, even though i've never voted repub in my life) are not necessarily christians? so this would explain why every time we see a comment about the "dimwits" who would vote for her, the comment is typically prefaced by things like the idiot evangelical right, far right religious wackos, and other even less attractive stereotypes that have arisen of late, pointed almost exclusively at christian americans? i suppose you mean to say that you don't necessarily believe the supporters of sarah palin are christians, almost exclusively?

fascinating.

i just think what he said was funny i read that and was blank for a moment and then started laughing!

i mean yeah its kinda bad that he was talking to you like that but in the same regard that was funny..sometimes i even laugh at the insults i get..because in all honesty sometimes there pretty good and funny enough to laugh at even if they are stupid!

as far as what he was saying and you if you go back and read his first that you replyed to and then all of it started he really didnt say who was for palin except for dimwits or w/e religion he didnt bring into it i guess ou realised your mistake and attacked another way...

its a shame we spend all this time arguing and debating about people who do nothing but lie to us everyday and i dont care who were talking about demo or rep they are all meant to divide and conquer we sped all this time arguing over them and they sit back and watch and admire there on the same team! they act like there not but they are!

and we cant see that because they have us at eachothers throats someone cant state there opinion without someone jumping all over them if we kept all the stupid stuff to ourselves let people have there own thoghts and minds kept our beliefs to ourselves and joined together as a race as a species the world would turn into a better place!

For me its simple. She represents or has been fashioned to represent by her foes a certain kind of woman thats not what many had in mind as the new female type for the new era. They have been working on this for years and now Sarah comes along as a woman seemingly untouched by the hands that have been shaping the new female for decades.

Plus I think the Republicans figured out that many women still see themselves as anything but the jaded, haggered faced, hard assed, tough talking and dictatorial types ones sees in the higher eshelons of polititcs these days. Palin seems like she is happy in her own skin and not a sort of boiling caldron.

but we CAN'T keep our opinions to ourselves. if we did that, there would be no books, no movies, no songs, no artwork, no inspiration. we'd be a bunch of frustrated robots. it's our opinions that express our understanding of reality (trademark, copyright) and enrich the other person's perspective as well, even if the two sets of opinions differ.
