A non-religious Intelligent Design theme
Which happens to have a rhyme scheme
Its simple; the way in which we all
Make adaptations and evolve
The birds that Darwin saw off a coast
Had different beaks from the parent host
They were on an island and had different seeds
Than they could have opened with their normal beaks
So the mothernature/god/goddess whomever creator
Having long since forseen what was to come later
Did not have to step in or do a thing
The program already running did it automatically
The shape of the bird beak changed
Call it mutation, the facts remain,
Mutation indeed, all the same
There were changes in the DNA!
So it is that the tiny acorn can grow
With nothing other than what we all know
Water , air and light; photosynthesis
Not quite explained in Genesis
But there has got to be something else
Arguing only keeps the logic up on the shelf
A program is running in order for it to be
That from an acorn there could be an oak tree
Think of the fact that we are all solar powered
As humans we live each and every single hour
Only because of the great star that shines
And keeps us all alive.
Though we need much more than just that
We are not just solar powered in fact,
We need air , water, and then there is food
Also clothing and shelter , and , are you catching my mood?
We humans are nothing more than super high maintenance
If intelligent ET’s are real than they would freakin’ hate us
Or perhaps not, perhaps they are just the same
Fighting , killing, and placing the blame
But stopping to paint or to sing or to laugh
For dark is to light as white is to black
No colors of skin to tear the world to pieces
We look different, that’s all, and I want to scream Jesus
People there is a design that flows in this world
We live on a light blue , turquoise , water covered pearl
It’s insanely impossible all that could happen by chance
We cannot comprehend what God is, but we evolve, end of rant.

I mean this as the postulation of many ideas.
Feel free to reply in any respectful form of textspeak.
A reply need not rhyme.
All ideas are interpretations of mine.
Trolls need not apply.
It is not meant to get moved to a forum for art, please mods
This is just a particular format for my thoughts

Agreed. Evolution to me is the ability of animals to adapt to their environment, not creation. They seem to confuse the two.
Something created all this.
The building bloc of life, Atoms, is amazing.
Nothing exists but atoms. Clumped together they can accomplish anything on their own. This is proof of intelligent design to me.
Humans can't seem to grasp the concept that pace is nothing and the only thing that exists is atoms. Clumped together into planets stars and living
creatures.
On the Alien part, I seem to think of them as tourists coming to see the animals in the zoo, us.
I wonder if they even have such emotions, anger, hate, fear, etc.
Imagine a species who live in such a society with no concept of these things. What if you grew up in an environment with nothing trying to hurt you?
Would you have such emotions?

While your verse is inspiring,
and your info not muddled,
God might not be an artist,
as I am befuddled.
So much beauty, yet so many pains.
And alive, Paris Hilton remains.
For every single wonder, there is a distraction.
For in this beauty, rarely human interaction.
We tend to this, we tend to that.
We live on our couches, blinded alone and fat.
So what can we do, to show them the way?
That nature and friends, are all you need in a day.

I forgot to add that every time I see the Hubble pictures I think of it as God's canvas. So beautiful.

"The Great Artiste" apparent!
That the Sun at 93 million miles distance
compared with the Moon at 1/4 million miles away
are precisely the same size when viewed from upon the Earth...
That the Fixed Stars of the Zodiac bear the full Phonetic AlphaBet of consonants in a grand connect-the-dots,
and the 7 visible to unaided eyes 'wandering planets' assigned the vowel aspirations (as the days of the week)
sounded in a descending scale/arpeggio, intones the name of Him...
iy eh uw oh uh ah ghah

I'm glad you get me on what I'm saying here.
It's like that spiral in a conch shell. That's a form that is found all over the earth and in so many places.
And for some weird reason , over the sky in Norway recently lol
About the star part, that was really cool. To add to that it's baffling to think that we all came from stars.
"coming to see the animals in the zoo" lmao
Indeed, that could very well be.
An environment where noone was trying to hurt you is , IMHO, how the planet we are on is meant to be.
For some or for very many reasons it is not.
Something is amiss.

I am glad that you are inspired
My verse was not rehearsed
Nor is this , my reply
I see what you are saying and why
How could god be an artist when
there is such beauty as well as such pain?
Hmmmm, excellent question
A metaphor is my suggestion
Think of Cobain, Joplin, Hendrix, or Van Gogh
All with such creative power and all about the show
Each one was in complete love and in complete pain
Each one could destroy themselves as each one could create

I'm not a poet, so I'm not even going to try.
All of nature is a canvas that God has painted upon. The beauty of the stars at night, the millions of shades of red in a sunset, or sunrise...never
the same twice.
How could He not be an artist?
As for Paris Hilton? So he had an off day, happens to everyone... Or she's an expression of his sense of humour, kinda like the platypus...

I've often thought the phrase "God created man inhis own image" had nothing to do with physicality, but in the fact that we, like God, are
creators.....

I have felt that way for many years now.
Whomever , whatever, however, God is then "God" wants us to be creators indeed.
We are born to create , all of us.
It could be a business or a meaningful family, or art, or law, or bringing history to life in a classroom, I mean anything.
Growing crops, building vehicles, designing life saving technology, curing disease, curing death even...

If in this world, I had no life
How easy it would be, to keep up the rhymes.
Even though that last one was "slant"
If you think that I can keep up, I cant.
For this world of we speak of, it calls
For Super Bowl friends, who wonder my halls!
As a host, I have most surely failed
As sure as the moon's face is pale.
And for Miss Hilton, she's not the only or the last
I have a whole list of celebs, at which I stare in AGHAST!!!
I love my body, Im not jealous of their beauty
But their only talents, are showing their booty!

When nature's great wheel runs on harm.
Who are to denign?
One must die so another may live.
This is the order of all things.
Pain is bad.
But it helps us live.
We learn to avoid the hurtful things.
I agree this is mixed bless you see.
But the wheel would stop without the pain we fear.

Inertia Zero you are multitasking
That' a lot for me to be asking
That you stay here and rhyme with me
As if we were kids writing poetry
Alas I might watch the Game
Though I am a college football fan all the way
I love UGA, though my granddad went to GA Tech
I have no NFL love, but I might watch the game, what the heck
InertiaZero won't be here rhyming with me at that point on this God is An Artist Thread
So what the heck ?
Perhaps this thread is the antithesis of Nietzche's God Is Dead?
