I think I'm getting what your trying to say and what your looking for.

First, I do believe that the uSA was created divinely for the purpose of being an example and inspiration to the world. Sometimes, it's a positive example and sometimes it's a negative one.

The way the world works, the strongest desires create the most change. Those desires are pretty much always selfish. The catalysts for change are these selfish interests. They never act out of benevolence. By they are never in charge. They are only the catalysts. NWO interests are not to do anything positive. Rather it is self-interested manipulations. The consequences have been masked by them to be noble in order to limit resistance both from the public at large as well as from the subversives they enlist from the ranks of the secret societies or social reform movements and others who work or infiltrate all aspects of society.

The True Supreme Being is in charge and delegates this spiritual evolution to those entities who manage the creations upto and including the Devil. In other words, unknown to the catalysts (the worthless eaters ie the new world order), their desires and actions where being used for a higher good. The breakdown of social religions, the break down of the family, of virtue and purity, where part of the scheme of the NWO/Illuminati. Their goal is to create a slave society. But such a society will never truly be formed. What has happened instead is a freeing of the individual from the social brainwashing and habitual ignorance passed down generation after generation. What happens is a rapid exhaustion of karma both individually and collectively. What will emerge will be people genuinely making their own choices and free to find and pursue their real spiritual well being.

Of course, various cycles of the process will occur throughout the remainder of these temporary creations. But they will never result in the complete neutering of the human being to a robotic existence. Consciousness and free will are essential for the spirit to achieve it's destiny of freedom from it's own imperfections. What ever the goals of the selfish influences and their rise and fall from time to time the real benefits that come in their wake are managed from a far higher and infinitely merciful point of view.

The uSA is composed of spirits that are in a wide range of conditions. My experience with people anywhere is that so long as their fundamental self interest is not at risk, most people are good and well intending. When they are not, it seems to be the result of damage they have received to their basic self interest as a result of some kind of abuse. Abuse that can even be self administered as a result of mental or emotional vulnerability and associations.

First off, never in our countries short history have the men and women who served conquered any place or any one.Brave individuals in uniform only prevented others from being conquered. The citizens of the United States have been the greatest supporters and defenders of life and liberty since before 1776.Since the looting of citizens private wealth we have become something less than our forefathers were.Allowing life and liberty to be replaced by a good credit score and high def TVs.Local,State and US Government has been under attack as we have been.I am a little dissapointed in the way the before mentioned entities are behaving.Given a common enemy we have united and won battles on distant shores that were being lost by those who doorstep the battles raged.I am a seventh generation American. My father was at Pearl. We the people are the US Government and we are the ones who give the oath to defend against all threats foriegn and domestic. But we allowed another government into our home. And they created the Homeland. And we joined up not thinking or knowing that a new government exsisted. This new government controls the money and the manpower now.The Federal Government has done what Hitler did.Taken over our country without firing a shot. And We The People are the ones doing all the work and taking all the bullets for those behind it's creation. If our country falls,it will be because of The People. If WE THE PEOPLE relize the TRUTH we can stop the plans. The plans to eraticate humanity before we relize the awful truth. The biggest truth is we have been dominated by rich, spoiled, pansy ass little boys who cried to their daddies whenever they got dirt on their knickers. And we are on the brink of getting our asses handed to us,by us,because of a relatively few numbers of weaklings in suits. That is why we should all be a little dissapointed with our country.

Here we go again....

Yet another thread about the Good Ole US of A.
All these threads ever do is stir the pot. On one side you'll have some Americans waving the flag and pounding their chest. They'll get a few stars. Then you'll have the group that will take it upon themselves to point out everything that's wrong with the US and all the wars we have fought. {Good, Bad or Indifferent} ignoring the root causes to many and only point out the wrongs we've done. They usually get like over 100 stars. {Go Figure}

So it breaks down this way.

On one hand we have a minority of Americans who want to take 100% credit for the past 100 to 150 years or so. Then on the other hand we will have those who refuse to give the US ANY credit. {Again pointing out Everything that's wrong with the US}

So then it comes down to a mud slinging contest.

Never Fails.

Instead of Talking about how "Great the US" is. I say to my fellow Americans let's just go back to the basics and just do the things we used to do before the spot light was put on us. This is another fine example of how ATS members will just use any form of American Pride threads as an opportunity to Slam the US.

They'll regurgitate then excrete large volumes of verbal feces about Iraq, Vietnam, Afghanistan and Korea {Always Forgetting} All the other Countries from Around the World who fought with the US or the Countries who contributed to the conflicts on the other side.

So please my Fellow Americans Give it a rest.

What I am interested to know , is ... The Americans cannot be as dumb as they are portrayed. You know that the americans do not fight for alleged terrorists hating their freedoms . You know it is a geo strategic war for resources . What I want to know , is what is the extent of the charade , do americans know it is a war for resources and just pretend it is a war against terrorism . Or do they really believe it . Is it a psychological thing that makes them want to be ..'righteous ' . Never before has an imperial power conducted a charade like this. The motives were always well established and transparant . This time around , there is this concealment . It is difficult sometimes to establish a baseline when you are confronted with the ' war on terror ' bogus rationale all the time.

Might be an idea to THINK before you speak next time huh?

You may want to reconsider some of YOUR facts. Yours is just cheaper.
U.S. Uranium Reserves Estimates

Secondly Many here at ATS "Including Americans" are pretty ignorant about US fuel reserves.

Source
Fossil fuels – coal, oil and natural gas -- currently provide more than 85% of all the energy consumed in the United States, nearly two-thirds of our electricity, and virtually all of our transportation fuels. Moreover, it is likely that the nation’s reliance on fossil fuels to power an expanding economy will actually increase over at least the next two decades even with aggressive development and deployment of new renewable and nuclear technologies.

Because our economic health depends on the continued availability of reliable and affordable fossil fuels, the Department of Energy’s Office of Fossil Energy oversees two major fossil fuel efforts:

1) Emergency stockpiles of crude oil and heating oil

The Department is responsible for maintaining the readiness of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve and the Northeast Home Heating Oil Reserve. In the event of a major supply interruption, the President could order emergency stocks from either of these two reserves to be released into the market.

2) Research and Development of future fossil energy technologies

Innovative technologies can make the future production and use of fossil fuels more efficient and environmentally cleaner. Energy’s Fossil Energy program, through the National Energy Technology Laboratory, is developing a full array of new technologies that can locate and produce oil and gas beyond the reach of today’s technologies, overcome the environmental challenges of using coal, and extract clean-burning hydrogen from fossil fuels.

In addition, the Office of Fossil Energy supports several initiatives to develop clean fuels from hydrogen and cleaner burning coal.

For statistical information relating to oil, natural gas, coal, and the electricity it produces, visit the Energy Information Administration.

United States Could Be Energy Independent If…
The United States could be energy independent if it possessed the collective political will to make it happen. After all, the country has the largest energy reserves on earth, according to a recently-released Congressional Research Service report.

As shown in the first chart below, the United States’ 1,321 billion barrels of oil equivalent (BOE) tops number 2 Russia with 1,248 billion BOE, and number 3 Saudi Arabia with 543 billion BOE.

I appreciate your interest and no, even when people don't agree with my views, I am not offended...God Bless Them.
I like Capitalism... you work and you get paid. You work hard, you get paid more. You work hard and figure a better way to work, you get paid even more. If you excell and show yourself a leader with good attitude, competence, and proficiency, you can advance and get paid even more. That is the way it works. Now, you can start a business, or work for someone else's business... if you see a need or demand or market...try to serve or meet that need and you have an opportunity. If you are right...you make money. Of course, there are fees and taxes...the idea is to make so much, that you still have more than when you started.
Finally, what I earn is mine...I worked for it. I don't mind sharing by way of charities, donations, churches, but I determine how it will be spent.

There are some that feel Capitalism is bad. That we should all have the same, irregardless of effort or opportunity. I say horse crap.
If I put in 16 hour days working full-time and part-time, and even for myself in the evenings and weekends...and I make a good amount of money; then I shouldn't be criticized by somone that only works the minimum 40hour week or doesn't work at all.
If I work hard to develope a skill or an education and I am compensated handsomely for it, then I shouldn't be criticized by someone that only finished high school or dropped out.
Capitalism, especially here in the USA, allows you to grow and develope...Life ,Liberty, and the PURSUIT of Happiness,...it doesn't guarantee it.

Actually left-wing policies are worse. That is where you get the real problems. That is where the "need" to interfere is strongest and it gets hidden under psuedo-intellectual rationales. Remember Bush was on a mission from god

The ATS community needs to continue to Deny Ignorance and rightfully acknowledge that both the US and Canada (NATO) have been a force for good in this world bringing hope to the oppressed.

S & F's

World power, what countries have held that position? Mesopotamia, ancient Egypt, Greece, Rome, various European powers, Great Britain and now the US.

The responsibilities of power are great, risks are tremendous, criticism by nearly all others is incessant, and costs for instance of maintaining even a world class Navy is astronomical!

However, it appears there is a need for an ongoing world power structure if not by the US then by some coalition of powers. At present no rival country or coalition is even close.
