Well, I have a little interest because I used to use them as a kid, all in good fun. But your right everyone is different.

That is the thing... no spirit would glom onto me unless he wanted a beer and a cigar.... hardly the face of evil...

But, if you look into poltergeist activity, it seems to happen right around the ouigi board's target market and cheif demographic!

I am just saying, that could really create a mess!

Again what is so wrong with a toy girls can play with at a sleepover... I see nothing wrong with it. I highly doubt little girls are trying to summon satan or demons if they are hey I'll be proud of my little girl if she got a demon to come out of a pink Ouija board. Its all this religious mumbo jumbo that's causing all fuss.

I don't think it is necessarily a matter of little girls summoning a demon...

I think it is more a possibility of something already around proactively using this as a portal or a way to attach itself to a person or a place.

Even if it is a remote possibility of something negative happening, why tempt fate?

I'm not tempting fate I'm letting my baby girl summon an evil spirit that's quite a feat in my opinion. If at age 10 summoning spirits I can't wait to see the amazing things she could do by the time shes 17 my god she could summon satan and end the world now, that would do me proud. Summoning a being from a fictional story. If I had that power I would be summoning hobbits from LOTR so I have good drinking buddies. And good looking men from romance novels and a dragon just for fun. All from a little pink Ouija board.

Regardless of your troll attempt with the fictional story comment, it seems like there could also be some psychological implications in kids using things like this.

If you want your 10 year old to have one, knock yourself out! In fact, there is a link in an earlier post so you can buy her one!

It doesn't change the fact that those who believe in spirits (ie, the majority of the people on the planet) would likely find this "toy" to be a bad idea.
