You're merging two stories together:

Did a plane hit the Pentagon? No.

Was there really a flight 77? I don't know...
Giving stories about alleged people on a flight 77 is important but in no way says that flight hit the Pentagon. Did those people exist? You prove they did before we can speculate what happened to them. If there was an actual AA flight 77 that day I am very sorry for the loss of life. I hope someday we know what happened to them.

In responce to the above quotation. There were a lady witness who saw a "Jet Fighter" [F16] flying in at extremely low altitude at high speed [estimation 700mph] which she saw fire a missile from its under belly. The fighter clipped a street lamp [pictures of this up rooted street lamp exist] and was out of control. Thus the jet fighter flew into the pentagon building simultanious as the missile hit too. As regard to engine parts at the pentagon a small single jet engine turbine shaft was found which fits very well with the witness report of a F16 type of fighter jet. A few days before the attack notice the "H" symbol was painted on the lawn right where the fighter hit. Is this coincidence ? Another coincidence was that the wing of the pentagon that was attacked was unoccupied that day for renovation work. Just coincidence ? The picture provided of a piece of the metal of the aircraft that hit the pentagon laying on the lawn looks to me as being simply a part from a Navy F16 fighter jet. The colourations are typical USA Navy fighter jet type colours.

I think if we consider something as evidence, we need to be just as stringent on both sides of the argument. I don't see any evidence of an F-16 in those pictures either.

Well, not being from the US, I've never really studied the Pentagon case...I've done a little study into the 9/11 case...and I'm still 50/50 on that one...but having examined the evidence you presented in this thread, and doing a little bit of my own research...I can safely say you'd have to be an absolute moron to believe a jumbo jet hit that building...and what's this about a missing bit of film which would have shown what really hit the building? *mega face palm*

I'll ask this question for the third time now, which is more likely:

A) The government swapped Flight 77 for a missile and subsequently hushed EVERYONE involved, including relatives, flight controllers, and American Airlines staff without ANYONE spilling the beans in the nearly 10 years since the event.

or

B) Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon, and you're just not an expert on the dynamics of a plane slamming into a reinforced structure.

I know I am certainly not an engineer, and I would suspect you aren't either. Without such knowledge, I don't think either of us (nor most people who post 9/11 conspiracy sites) can say with certainty WHAT would happen if a plane hit a building of that strength at a given speed.

That being said, I don't know which side of the fence I fall on as far as the government being involved or not. I do, however, feel there is much more evidence supporting Flight 77 hitting the Pentagon than the opposite being true.

If I'm not sure that flight 77 existed I can't very well answer your question. You're up - prove it existed, THEN, maybe I'll attempt to learn more what might have happened to it. You may recall my thread is about what DIDN'T hit the Pentagon, not where an alleged airplane is.

I don't know what evidence convinces you that flight 77 hit the Pentagon. Maybe take a look at the montage again... 12 foot hole, explosion outward, no airplane wreckage.

Some said it flew over.....

Until a real unbiased investigation is done, and the 50 something odd video's that were confiscated and never released are revealed, then we cannot be 100% sure what it was.

As soon as a people believe that they enjoy freedom you can be sure that they more than any other are a people enslaved. The USA is just as easy to enslave as any other nation. Overt slavery is not the problem here. The problem is covert slavery. If you were aware of the chains that bind you then you would break them and be free. However you are a slave binded by chains that you cannot see. The problems that affect the USA are not coming from abroad. The USA has a problem that lays within its own borders.

You're dodging the issue. If you assert that Flight 77 didn't exist, then are you also suggesting that every person who claims a relative was on the flight is a government shill/agent, and that American Airlines is complicit in the crime by not reporting to the public that there was no Flight 77 near Dulles that morning?

I would think it would be pretty easy for ANY American Airlines employee, from the baggage handlers to the front desk workers, to call up the flight schedule and see there was no flight 77 to LAX planned. Why haven't any of them come forward?

All you have provided is photos that have been bandied about here for years.

Don't get me wrong, I don't believe what the government said happened on 9/11 is what happened on 9/11 but you haven't changed the playing field in any way, shape or form.

Get a solid video or photo of something other than the blurry crap that is available for the pentagon and then you might have something.

Which engineering school did you get your degree from, and how long have you been studying the dynamics of compaction in high-energy collisions? I mean, I'm not engineer, but it would make sense to me that a fairly delicate fuselage would crumple and narrow in a collision with a reinforced structure. Of course, how much and in what nature is beyond my scope of knowledge, but I certainly don't pretend to be an engineer, like *some* in this thread

The pictures that I saw of the up rooted street lamp and the picture of the metal laying on the pentagon lawn and the other picture that I saw showing the single engine jet turbine all fit together with the witness report I watched soon after 911 that it was a F16 fighter jet that attacked the pentagon. I am informed by amature plane spotters that flight 77 landed at Cleveland Airport safe and sound. The same spotters reported that all the crew and passengers were taken to a NASA building at the Cleveland Airport and were never witnessed coming out ever.

From the photos I've seen, the planes that hit the WTC towers demolished the weaker structures and left a good deal of the steal beams behind, which seems logical. In the case of the Pentagon, the entire structure is reinforced, so I would imagine the damage resulting from such a collision would me smaller.

Do you really think most of the WTC towers were built to be as structurally tough as the perimeter of the Pentagon? Have you ever seen schematics of the Pentagon's structure? Quite a bit different than a skyscraper's perimeter.

And you think the scenario you describe above is easier and more logical than just using the plane as a weapon?

Seriously? You think that the government wanted to simulate an attack on the Pentagon and figured the easiest, most foolproof plan was to hide the plane at a public airport, escort the passengers and crew to a "NASA building", execute them, and summarily attempt to hide the bodies?

Following that, you think their devious plot would have gone off perfectly if it weren't for amateur plane spotters who were both at the Pentagon AND Cleveland airport that morning (how they beat a plane from the Pentagon to Cleveland is beyond me, they must have invested in a warp drive), who knew which building was the "NASA building", and stayed there to make sure those people came out again?
