OK you people claiming this is not an alien, I haven't seen you prove your claim!
just kidding

Seriously though I agree with Kandinsky, I think these folks like Salla are educated enough that they are probably charlatans and not just delusional. However, I have heard of cases where charlatans told lies so often for so many years that eventually they started believing their own lies were true, so I wouldn't be too quick to rule out that possibility.

I think Salla and Greer deserve more respect than they are given in this thread.

Salla wrote the vitally important paper The Black Budget Report: An Investigation into the CIA’s ‘Black Budget’ and the Second Manhattan Project

The evidence presented in this paper makes it clear that the CIA was given the power of the purse in direct violation of the Constitution and its vesting of that power in the Congress. The provision granting the CIA this power has never been challenged in court.

With all the unaccounted for spending, missing money, it begs the very serious question as to whether or not the CIA is using this budgetary power. I think it would be beyond naive to think that they are not.

In regards to this particular article (8 ft tall alien), my impression of Salla as a newspaper writer is that he publishes stories he comes across but does not make a serious attempt to vet them, to verify that they are definitely true.

As far as spending money to hear Salla speak, to be honest I do not know why anyone spends money to hear people speak anymore. With the internet and the free flow of ideas, you can find whatever you are looking for, the information is right at your fingertips and it's free.

Lastly Greer was in an organization that only took the top 1/4 of medical students, he is no slouch by any means. I think the people like Mark McCandlish that he interviewed for the Disclosure Project brought valuable information to our attention.

As far as the stories about him charging to meditate to wait for UFOs to appear, I don't know what to make of that. It could be overblown and misrepresented, it could be a scam, he could genuinely believe that he is talking to aliens, or he could actually be talking to aliens. To be honest I figured it was the 1st or the 3rd or a combination of both.

G'day Bobbox1980

If you go to Greer's own website, you'll see he charges $1,000 per person, 30 people at a time, to spend a few hours on the beach with him.

If you can't find that info, let me know.

He's a shocker.

Salla & him are both charlatans who've shoved their snouts firmly in the UFO trough.

Kind regards

Read that paper I linked to, it is eye opening and I have not seen anyone else tie things together like Salla did in regards to the CIA and a much larger secret black budget.

Could you please provide me links on Greer? I am curious what he actually says people get for their money.

G'day Bobbox1980

Like Salla, Greer is just a shocker.

Have a look at this page of his website.

He'll charge you US$995 to "train" you at the beach, not including transport or accommodation.

Before you go, you have to buy all his books & read them.

You have to sign a confidentiality agreement to ensure you won't tell anybody what happened.

He earns US$30,000 for a holiday at the beach!

No wonder he has time to push those weights!

What a load of rubbish.....

You may find it interesting to note that Greer also claimed he 'vectored' (was responsible for) the Phoenix Lights. Apparently these highly advanced aliens just hang around in space waiting for Steven to call them because they have nothing better to do that perform parlor tricks on his beck and call.

Steven would also have you believe that we can contact ET with a simple flashlight. If only the government would realize it was so easy! I can believe us ATS members haven't put this whole UFO reality question to rest. All we need are torches apparently.

He also posted pictures of UFO's/Rods on his website that he also claimed to 'vector'. When it turned out that the UFO's were actually moths and Greer was caught lying , the images mysteriously disappeared from his site.

Then there's the hundreds upon hundreds of 'anonymous' insiders he refuses to substantiate. It's very easy to claim any old thing and attribute it to secret sources. In fact, he will say all the right things to ensnare those who 'need' to believe. This is one of the many ways Greer sets his trap.

The residence he rents (and asks for donations to pay for) for his Orion Project turns out to belong to Greer himself. In essence people send him money so he can pay himself rent.

Mr Disclosure also asks people to pay a small fortune to go on his CSETI field trips and then makes them sign a non disclosure agreement. Say what?

The dinner he claimed to have where he briefed R. James Woolsey (CIA Director) was a complete exaggeration in order to present himself to his 'followers' as a person who was being taken seriously by the big movers and shakers (TPTB) and to give the impression to his 'followers' that all his UFO cloak and dagger ramblings are based in reality.

Woolsey wrote a letter refuting Greer's claims and signed it. It includes ghost signatures from others that were are the table that evening.

Woolseys Letter

The list goes on and on... but I must stop somewhere and this seems as good a point as any. I'll finish by saying, go out and do your own research on Greer - and remain skeptical. He has a tendency to lie, exaggerate and make up all kinds of baloney.

The guy is the worst kind of fraud and I do seriously question the intelligence of anyone who believes or defends him.

End of story!

I don't even know what to say, you don't sound like you can be swayed by logical thought.

Prove that I'm not from Venus?

Without dissecting me to show I'm not an alien and physically traveling to Venus to show I couldn't exist there how can you be absolutely sure?

How can you be absolutely sure that I can't walk through walls when you're not looking?

In life and in science we can only work with probabilities. So ask yourself, what's more probable; that the man in the photo is just some guy in his backyard, or an alien being who traveled thousands of light years across the galaxy in his spaceship who just happens to look exactly like any other human?

What's more probable? I can walk through walls when you're not looking, or I'm lying to make a point?

G'day again Bobbox1980

Here's a special treat for you.....

One of Greer's light beings.....

This picture was taken from his website a long time......i.e. he's been at it for years.

Don't go soft on the likes of Salla & Greer.

Ok, fair enough, it does seem like Greer let this UFO business go to his head. Power does tend to corrupt, his Disclosure Project put him into the limelight and it seems like he dealt with it by giving in to temptation and swindling people out of their money.

This is not an excuse, but it does remind me of our congressional representatives who often get into politics for the right reasons but then get hopelessly corrupted by the power it brings.

That said I still think the Disclosure Project was an incredibly valuable source of knowledge for the UFO community and the world at large. As I have tried to tell others who for the most part don't listen, the Mark McCandlish ARV "flux liner" has components that match a physics theory out there called Extended Heim Theory.

Specifically a flywheel above a large electromagnetic coil above a capacitor array. According to EHT a coil of significant magnetic strength should generate gravitophoton pairs (gravitational and expansion force), the flywheel rotating with sufficient speed will have its protons collide with the gravitational force gravitophotons creating a dent in spacetime at the front of the craft. The expansion force gravitophotons will be deflected back and flow towards the electrons in the capacitor array colliding with them. This will create a hill in spacetime.

If one looks at this in terms of the alcubierre warp drive effect, this craft would create the requisite dent and hill in spacetime at the front and back of the craft causing the craft to fall down spacetime.

Greer may have sold out but there are some pearls in all the oysters that is the Disclosure Project.

Salla may print anything he comes across but his work on the CIA and the secret Black Budget is an excellent paper, one that should encourage Congress to repeal the budgetary power given to the CIA, and I defy you to tell me it is a load of bunk.

I suspect he started out "OK" & then went "off"!

If you can post links to that Salla article & that technology you've mentioned, I'd be interested to read that material.

Kind regards

BTW.....that's not my labeling on that light being (a.k.a. moth) picture.....it was done by another ATS member who is a little less subtle than me

The Salla article is here:
The Black Budget Report: An Investigation into the CIA’s ‘Black Budget’ and the Second Manhattan Project

Mark McCandlish Disclosure Project Testimony on the ARV "flux liner"

A larger sketch of the ARV.

A shorter primer on Extended Heim Theory. This page has some photos near the bottom showing that the photon breaks down into a gravitophoton pair one with positive energy density and normal gravitational force, the other with negative energy density and an expansion force and that the gravitational force photon combines with protons and neutrons and the expansion force photon can combine with electrons.

This site contains many research papers by the team leading the development of Extended Heim Theory including the one that won the award by the AIAA (American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics). It's not exactly light reading.

This is a wikipedia entry on the alcubierre warp drive

Salla's unconventional views have made his work the subject of considerable controversy and criticism within both the ufological and mainstream academic communities. Much of the testimony he uses to support his position is controversial due to a lack of empirical evidence to substantiate many of the claims.

While many of Salla's sources are considered to be credible by adherents to the UFO Disclosure movement who cite a variety of supporting documents and credentials, critics argue these sources have been discredited for a variety of reasons; among these the dissemination of patent falsehoods in the content of claims made, and the misrepresentation of credentials.

Do you find it strange that this being is not showing his arms? Yes I realize

his arms are probably behind his back and what is the insignia on the bottom

left of his shorts and in the photo it is to the bottom right on the shorts. ^Y^

How about a simple, everyday clothing label/logo. Does this sound probable enough to you?

You can't be honest in suggesting these particular aspects draw any kind of suspicion... can you?

ZO, I always enjoy well written scorn & the OP is that so thanks! As evidence that the man deserves our scorn, I'll quote from the comments on the Examiner article:

"Michael Salla, Ph.D. says:
For those of you doubting this evidence, please take a look at this man's penis. It's pretty big!"

So now we know how these ETs are funding their secret under-Adriatic bases, eh? The porn industry!
