I always thought Salla was a bit loony but this time hes really set the bar quite high for ufology and that's saying something.

He has on his site, a "story" that revolves around a photograph of what he calls an extraterrestrial. Now, you would think that would be pretty outstanding... if it were actually a photograph of an alien being, except it's not... it's a picture of a dude standing next to some trees in what appears to be the man's backyard. Wait.. what?

The story, and photograph, come from an Italian professor whom I can only guess received his degree in electrical engineering from the same university that decided Steven Greer should be allowed to operate on other human beings.

Salla not only endorses this lunatic but even made him the keynote speaker at his conference last month. Yes, that means people actually paid.. wait for it... $395 to see him present what are probably his unsuspecting neighbors as alien visitors

Either he actually believes that's an extraterrestrial wearing sneakers and shorts (which are about 8 sizes smaller than necessary), or he knows how ridiculous it looks but doesn't care because he figures he can fill an auditorium with suckers willing to pay $395 for Professor Breccia's vacation photos.

Is this how deep ufology has sunk? Really?

ZombieOctopus.

You should offer proof that's not an extraterrestrial.....

.....or stop spreading your disinfo.

You just made a little part of me die inside.

I don't want to believe you really just said that, but there it is.

Edit: Thank the invisible sky wizard you're kidding

I think an 8 foot tall white human wearing shorts and a floral shirt would be noticed.I have seen this photo and you can't judge his height at all.

Sala just jumped on the E.T. visitor bandwagon like all the other junk journalists now a days.

There is money to be made in it actually.

I wouldn't believe anything he reports.

There is no such thing as a looney. someone who believes so is just so ignorant that their view is right. Looneys just have a different view.

Then there are liars....

You mean the one you can see protruding from his shorts?

Well.....

I wouldn't say it's actually protruding.....

It's sort of "hinting" that it's there.....

Maybe it’s a star child alien sorta ting.

I’d need you to have knowledge of boxing to be able to explain it properly.

Salla is just another wanker intent on causing harm to UFOlogy. What angers me more than the damage he's doing to this field of study is the fact that this twat is an Australian. If I could revoke his citizenship and send him to Hades I would. What an embarrassment to my country.

Those who believe him or even give him the benefit of the doubt are even worse. You know what they say about the fool or the fool who follows him. It's because of these idiotic, brain dead sheep that people like Salla exist. They give him a voice and a market to shamelessly plunder.

Edit To Add:

Why not contact Michael and tell him what you think of him!

G'day InfaRedMan

That's all we need down here, if this is typical of his work.

We don't have too many good people in the field down here, any more.

Does he have a site where he publicises this stuff?

Kind regards

I can explain this...

This Michael Salla probably MEANS that this guy believes he’s a star child from that what’s it called planet Pleiades.

The world is so unhappy; they manipulate it to release demons.

I could explain it so much better if there were any boxing fans here.

OK.....

Thanks ZombieOctopus

Now I understand the sort of work he does.

As for your specific story.....

Well, that's just a shocker.....I think you & InfaRedMan have summed things up quite well.

Kind regards

Let's be fair. Dr. Greer may have controversial beliefs, but that should not reflect on his competency. He was the chief of a hospital emergency department. He didn't get his PhD or reach that position by being incompetent.

I believe that insofar as the UFO phenomenon is concerned, people like Greer may be untrustworthy to an extreme degree, but that doesn't mean we should malign their abilities outside the field (though i will admit it does not reflect on them in general). Let's not forget these are educated men. However, belief does do strange things to people.
