That is true. It is an appreciation of duality, represented by the numeral "2", to keep it there. It's best to let it go or it will weight you down too much to appeciate oneness with the source. The true value is in what is given up and the resulting cessation of suffering.

I'm quite skilled in reading nonverbal cues, understanding their social meaning AND coming up with options for resolving a social conflict. I just get tired of NEEDING to come up with resolutions for what usually amounts to dealing with someone else's immaturity. Social isolation works for me and I have very few people I am honored to call friends.

Is that elitist? A superiority complex? Maybe. I don't necessarily feel "superior" to most people I've met, I just don't feel like we have much in common at all. People are allowed preferences and I prefer to avoid the majority of them.

And I just have to say that I love threads like these. Although I don't participate very much, everyone's thoughts make me really ponder myself, and learn.

Sometimes my beliefs and thoughts are changed by threads such as these.
