*Two notes-1) I did a search, didnt find this posted. Feel free to remove if it has already been; 2)Feel free to move to a different board, not sure where it fits best

now I'm sure this will be written off by many, but I felt it might spark some discussion:

finance.yahoo.com...?mod=family-home

So, Monopoly has been redesigned. It is called MONOPOLY, Revolution Edition. I find that interesting in itself.

Some changes of note:
-A New, Round board. Can't help but notice the resemblance to an eye
-No more paper money or banker, they are replaced by a Debit card and ATM.
-Clips of popular songs from artists like Rihanna and Beyonce (which some of you I'm sure will raise an eyebrow at)
-No more individualized pieces, just tokens with pictures on them
-Denominations are higher-passing 'GO' earns you $2 million.

I simply could not help but notice that all of the changes fall into the categories of the so-called "New World Order" blueprint. Elimination of paper money. No possible way to cheat. Devaluation of currency. Less individuality.

not sure I'm a total NWO believer, but the similarities here are unmistakable.

This quote is interesting. Are these really evidences of a "new world order," or are they just the obvious examples of the direction society is heading? Lets look at them.

Elimination of paper money: what difference does it make, and why would it matter to a supposed "NWO?" There are 6 billion people on the planet, do they all really need thousands of little slips of paper to represent wealth? An electronic credit system is a pretty clean solution to society's needs.

No possible way to cheat: this is a bad thing?

Devaluation of currency: I'd say this is a byproduct of capitalism itself, not the machinations of a shadow organization.

Less individuality: again, there are 6 billion people in the world, and that number doesn't get smaller. How individual can each person be with a population of this size, and still function as a unified society?

Well, i guess then we get into the semantics game. I use New World Order as the blanket term for the globalization which is being pushed. Not in terms of "illuminati" or whatever other groups.

They certainly could be simple modernizations.

To touch on a couple of your points:
-The elimination of paper currency makes every transaction far more trackable. It also ensures that nearly everyone is carrying an RFID.

-Cheating has been a part of Monopoly from its beginning. Right wrong or indiferent.

-Individuality is very easy to maintain, if you want it.

-Devaluation of currency is the simplest form of control. History REEKS with cases of devaluing currency as a means to keep peasants from gaining strength.

These things are 'conspiracy theory 101'.

Interesting; I have worked on a game board recently and it is on facebook:

apps.facebook.com...

It's not monopoly but I thought you'd find it interesting what fellow ATSers do with their spare time off forum.
