I see a type of prejudice on ATS too frequently as of late and frankly its beginning to piss me off. The fact that the moderators of these boards, as well as many Americans in general are becoming more tolerant to talking about Muslims in a way to indicate the religion has any responsibility is ridiculous. Usually the argument will be something like, "Well when you hear about this stuff who is doing it? Muslims!"

It is small minded for somebody to speak that way and it should not be tolerated, just as racism should not be tolerated. And this is coming from somebody who does not agree with organized religion as a whole.

These honors killing aren't the fault of the Muslim religion. Crazy people who are Muslim kill. Crazy people who are not Muslim kill.

I've seen countless stories about murders (of whole families, certain relatives, etc.) by Christians or people with other various religions in the USA and Canada. They aren't what would be called "honor killings" but it is just as disgusting in many cases.

And I don't think being Catholic makes you a pedophile either!

You can't make all other Muslims responsible. Just as you can't make Christians responsible when a mother believes God would want them to kill their son. Or another example...you can't hold Christians responsible when a Christian kills a "witch" (which is still fairly common in certain areas).

This prejudice is disgusting brainwashing done by the war machine and by a power that needs to be stopped. I won't tolerate it with people I speak to, and I would hope others feel the same way still.

And you say it is mostly Americans and then chastise about jumping to conclusions? I believe you are just as intolerant but just on the other side of the coin. Also you say it is ignorant, I disagree ignorance is turning a blind eye to what is right in front of you is not? How are things going over in Europe with them pushing for there form of government?

Everybody has the right to believe what they want. As long as the belief does not infringe on another's right to believe. All religions should follow this simple rule and most do. The Muslim faith does not and has shown this over and over again. Are they all bad NO. Are the majority bad YES. If this religion was not as old as it is and was started today it would be considered a fringe cult and would be viewed negatively.


Tolerance should be shown to all except the intolerant if they would change there ways I would change my views about them.

Port Arthur didn't involve Muslims. But it did involve American demand for anti-gun legislation and apparently use of MK Ultra to brainwash the planned scapegoat.

We still don't know what really happened at Ft Hood. The people interviewed thought there were up to three shooters. The Muslim involved may have just been someone who took a bullet early on and they blamed it on him.To get a real investigation of any happening in our country has become impossible because the government thinks it has the right to lie right and left. Eventually people who were witnesses will get angry enough to come forward with their views of what happened.

I think the worst terror of what happened in Nazi Germany was what it did to the children. Why should any children have to be terrorized that people are going to turn against them and harrass or kill them? Children deserve better than that. Do you think your bullying is deserved by these Muslims? Or their children? Why do you want to scare little children! ? Do you know any Muslim children? They are not much different from your own! Do you want to become a racist and just go after Muslims? Good for you, I hope God deals with you before you get too far.
