I can't believe the number of people that think the most important factor in this issue is paedophiles and what they stand to gain. That is a side issue. The real issue is the influence being placed on young children when they see these clothes being advertised on TV and in catalogues. What kind of message does this send to young, impressionable girls when they see other children their age dressing in lingerie-inspired clothing and swinging from strip poles?

Does anybody really believe we should be encouraging pre-teens and teens alike to be dressing in these clothes and behaving in this manner? What effect do you think this will have on them when they become adults?

Life is influence. If we show kids pictures of strippers we are apparently influencing them to become strippers and if we show them pictures of a 'good girl' who never had sex before marriage and married a nice man and had two kids, we are influencing them to give up their lives to fit a steretypical view.

We can't make magazines that show each individual person what they could be when they grow up, and everyones views differ... Either way they are being influenced, and you can't claim one way of influence is wrong...

So with the fact that either way is influence, the affect it would have on paedophiles does in my oinion become the strongest issue here. And as I have stated, either way will turn some on, and some off, so there is no win situation.

The orginal story is a lie. The title of the thread is a hoax.

People have been duped - willingly.

Are some of the pictures found inappropriate behaviours? Probably. However, do you know the context of some of them? No.

People have just shown that little girls in lady bug outfits make them go crazy.

Like somehow you have the right to dictate if a girl wears a lady bug outfit.

Hoax. Duped. And Willingly Swallowed it Without So Much As A Thought.

Most of you don't Deny Ingnorance. You eat it for breakfast, with a side of emotion, a smattering of self-rigtheousness, a sprinkle of control-issues, and not a wit Critical Analysis to be be found.

So true. But the fact that there are other people posting here that think it is perfectly ok for little girls to be photographed in nighties, hanging from a stripper pole, wearing knee high patent leather platform boots and full length striptease gloves, not to mention full makeup with bright red lipstick, TURNS MY STOMACH. These little girls are posing for pictures that most adult WOMEN would not consider.

Where are the child welfare officials of that state?

Ahh. I see you've got the gist of things pretty accurately. Welcome to ATS, "The most popular website for lunatics arguing over whose delusions are real."

Of course little kids shouldn't dress up like skanks, but I think half the people on this thread refuse to admit that there is no "Noah Cyrus Lingerie Line" for the simple reason that they think it's fun to scream about how there shouldn't be one.

You know, after being disgusted by reading the 16 year old girl "honor Killing" thread, I pop by this gem of a thread, and get the feeling that our own country is heading into this Extremism

yes 9 year old Lingerie is pretty sick. but all the comments calling girls sluts and stuff, is uneccessary.

Bunch of Kurds here.

Aww this is so cute. Little girls dancing around a Maypole! Or is it a stripper pole?

I wonder how much that sleezeball Billy Ray is being paid to make his child appear in these ridiculous costumes everytime she leaves the house.

No one is calling these girls those names. They are attacking the type of clothing instead.

So how necessary is it to call everyone here a 'Kurd' - where did you pick up that kind of nonsensical phrase anyway?

You have proven yourself to be a hypocrite by violating what you preach in the SAME post!

LOL

Most of us arn't peadophiles are we.....we're not are we? Becuase if we arn't, how a little girl dresses does not affect us, we might find it rather tasteless, but just because I don't like the clothes Joe Bloggs down the street wears I don't try to say it's wrong.

Now lets look at heterosexual men. Some men are turned on by revealing clothing, and some are turned off by it. Now assuming peadophilia is a sexuality it will be the same, some are turned on and some are turned off. In that case, whether the girls are dressing like this or not it'll turn some people on.

Or we could take paedophilia to be a fetish... in which case most peadophiles would be turned on more by a child dressed naturally, than one dressed like an adult stripper. Innocent child - Adult stripper.....complete opposites, the paedophile doesn't want the stripper. In this case far more would be turned on by normally dressed children than those wearing these admittedly tasteless outfits.

The only other option I see is that my first statement is not true. Most of us in fact ARE capable of being paedophiles, and it is just that the great many of us are scared by this thought because it is morally and socially unacceptable. So we persue those who accept it with all the power we have...to try and proove we are different.

So either way, some will be turned on and some will be turned off... is it tasteless? In my opinion it is. Is it wrong? Who gives ME the right to answer that?

I completly agree. Why do these young girls even need to think thats what they should be wearing. Girls need to be girls for as long as possible. What is this obsession we`v got that we need everything too fast. That includes growing up.
I think that peadophiles automatically come to mind becuase of the topic. And anything that wil, not help them, but aid them in this way is wrong... I think this underwear line is totally tasteless.

I just saw them talking about this on Chelsea Lately actually, I think its pretty sick personally. But look she see's Miley doing it everyday probably, and to her it looks normal. I dont think the issue here is if they should make the clothes, I think the issue is the parents who let there little kids wear the clothes.

Parents that buy this stuff for thier children are the same stupid idiots that seem to think its funny to see a 3yr old swear...

They think its cute to have a miniture adult and dont seem to understand the the way they are conditioning thier own children...

Kids are getting older, and the parents are getting younger...

I dont hold much hope for the future generation wit the role models they have around them...

Respect 60 years ago? Sorry had to laugh there for a moment. That was in the late 1940's. Society was pretty messed up back then to.
