Lingerie line for kids to be launched

This is totally sick!

Then we ask why our society is so sexually oriented!

Then we ask why women are used and abused!

Then we ask why child porn is everywhere!

Then we ask why internet predators are targeting our kids!

Then we ask why we live in a f***ed up society!

All in the name of freedom of choice...

We are following the same path as societies have in the past.

What is the next "step" on this path?

Where are the parents at? Probably both working 9-6 jobs and letting their kids go shopping with some friends.

Let's hope this is really just an experiment to identify those who are unfit to be parents...

Back then girls were afraid to go to stores like Victoria's Secret.

Today I see middle schoolers walking in and out with credit cards.

I decided to click on that link and read the article in the OP, saw the pictures, etc.

The very first thing I thought of was beauty pageants for young girls and flashed on Jon Benet Ramsey.
What exactly are young girls being encouraged to do here :shk:

I don't know what all I can say about this... Other than it is completely disturbing to me...

Is her Dad not around? Is he afraid to tell her no? Who in there right mind is going to buy this stuff for their child anyway?

Seeing the pictures in that link was just gross... It was a little girl dressing and acting like a porn star...

I can see creepy old pedophiles buying this and forcing the children that the rape and molest to wear this crap...

I am just so grossed out... Really.. I am...

Why does a girl develop years before she is, um, legal?
I have seen thirteen year-old girls that pretty much have all of the necessary stuff to tease and perform the "dirty" deed. And get pregnant.
And, at what age can guys typically get a girl pregnant.
You may say, she/he is not prepared mentally...she/he is still a baby, she/he should be doing things us GOOD people think she/he should be doing. This type of thinking can do more harm than good, so we must be careful. The harm is setting some standard of conduct based upon age that is against what natures says is normal and natural for that individual.

Absolutely, not. That is the sickness here, in my opinion. Not the fact that a young child could be a sexual creature, but the fact that her young developing body is a carnival attraction.

I can't stand anything to do with Mylie, neither can anyone I've ever met - the fact that she's a celebrity just blows my mind. And I had no idea her little sister even existed....

But it looks to me like her little sister is just riding on Mylie's fame tail. And with something so horrifying as child lingerie... well, I say that loosely because they aren't technically lingerie, but rather they are inappropriate dresses.

The pictures creeped me out especially, those were just little girls... in suggestive clothing and poses.
But I guess the question is: Is Mylie's sister (whatever her name is) aware of the suggestive nature, or is she just being a kid who has the wrong influences?

I googled them on amazon they are ballet tutus, the very short kind. I did once talk to a shop owner who said it was rather ill to shop for children's cloths at the distribution events as there were thongs for 5 year olds.

In my opinion, this is yet another example of a no-talent, washed-up, antisocial Billy Ray Cyrus pimping out his daughters in an attempt to become relevant again in the entertainment world. The piece of garbage couldn't handle the criticism of his lack of talent past being a one hit wonder, so he ran off and groomed his daughters to create a prepubescent and adolescent sex appeal for his own perverted exploitation.

Hey BH I agree with you there, star for you. At the same time I do feel these clothes are revealing and would not allow my kids to wear them, but it comes down to the parent. Parents are responsible for laying down the rules for their kids, and if parents find this acceptable, it is their authority. So folks can be by all means "outraged" but they have no right dictating to other parents.

In my days kids were playing with toys, dolls... so times have changed.

These days a 9 year old is more worried about her or his priorities in life and relationships as opposed to just being kids. It is sad, but then again parents have to guide their kids. The thing is that these days the attitudes of parents are changing as well.

I would never let my girls wear this. And yes, they are posing with a stripper pole.

I could not agree with you more on this post.
I was rather shocked when I clicked the link provided in the OP. I really cannot believe people would think it is acceptable to allow a child to go out in public like that.

I was also shocked to see some of the responses in this thread. Sure I expected a few people to be for it but not the number I have seen. Some of the people I have seen in support of the cloths in that link surprised me. I never would have thought that from past posts they have made, I guess some people change though. They change because of the small amount here that they let slip and it only continues. That is why I say you are spot in with this post.

I knew at one time stripers that dressed like this outside of the club as well as when walking around off stage in the club working their tips. I can say this because I worked with them and dated a few of them. We have clothes like this and we wonder why teen pregnancy is so high. It is not only because they are not getting educated properly on the use of condoms and what not. It is because we are over sexualizing our children. I knew stripers that would not have dressed their own girls in this sort of attire.

This is sickening. I read the entire thread to this point I seen the articles of clothing in question. While not lingerie, it is inappropriate in my book. But you know what if anyone here wants to let their child go out like this and have sex either willingly or not so be it. You are an adult; let your daughter be seen in a sexualized manner by their peers or other adults. But when your child is in a situation that you do not like are you going to make a fuss about it or are you going to let it slide by as well?

this is a symptom of a larger issue in society. they are learning it from adults, so i think rather than being appalled and outraged at the idea of this we need to take a broader look at who the role models are these days. from there parents need to take it upon themselves to protect their kids in a more proactive way like my parents did, as well as many of my friends parents. of course there are some that would say "it's too hard to monitor what my kid does and sees with the way things are now, there is just too much!", to that i say you shouldn't have had a kid if you weren't up for the job.
