Have you heard about
CAMERA (Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America). Now look at their title Accuracy. But the ugly truth is they are hardly accurate. They are actually agents.

It is not difficult to find Anti-Semitism on the internet web sites. Anti Jewish hate from Nazi sites is linked up with Palestinian propaganda and terrorist sites. Crude MP3 jingles like, "Cook a Jew" live near pages selling Nazi and SS insignia and medals. (The "shark" message suggests failing to indoctrinate your children against Jews is comparable with encouraging them to swim with misunderstood "man-eating" sharks.)
The fear that Zionists plan to take over the world, “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion” and its derivatives is pushed hard, perhaps based partly on the Jewish origin of Karl Marx. (The right wing fear of Communism dating back to the Cold War era?) The Blood Libel is also endlessly reinvented.
The Internet lends itself very well to campaigning, whether promoting the truth or otherwise. The number of web sites devoted to demonizing Israel and promoting a fictitious history. Internet web sites have enormous potential for influencing young people, who gain much of their knowledge from web searches.
It is interesting to ponder the value of the Internet in this context. It is easy to find web sites which provide valuable material to increase your understanding of your faith or political persuasion, which is a good thing; assuming you are on the right track.
If you are heading down a wrong road of Anti-Semitism (or other forms of racial hatred), sexual perversion or witchcraft, it is just as easy to find the sites which will fuel your views and encourage you further down that road

Those who feel that Wikipedia has serious shortcomings include the encyclopedia's cofounder Larry Sanger, who described the encyclopedia as "part anarchy, part mob rule," and former Encyclopedia Britannica editor in chief Robert McHenry, who has said that Wikipedia is the source of "some very, very bad stuff."
Thus it was easy for Palestinian activists to publish dishonest and Anti-Israel information within sections about Israel and get them picked up by the user of Google Earth, as well as normal search engine enquiries.
Since Wikipedia is open to anyone to edit, the obvious thing is for honest people to correct the wrong information. CAMERA (Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America) has set out to do this. However, the Palestinian side did not take correction but escalated the conflict by setting up the pro-Palestinian advocacy group Electronic Intifada. They published selected posts attributed to CAMERA to build the picture of CAMERA as running a Zionist conspiracy. (the selected quotes included items from people who were not even CAMERA workers.)

The governments of the world are probably elated this fringe thinking is contained. So the people won't start sharing their socio-economic discontents, become actively politicized and rise up.

I mean I see so many anti-truth post on here.
What is truth? Impossible to know - because you can find enough evidence for any side to show that side as truth.
You have to remember, just because someone doesn't agree with your stance on something - does not mean they are some government agent. People have opinions, and not everyone holds the same opinion.
I find these labels of others most tiring and an easy outlet to dismiss those whom disagree with you (in general)
I also find it funny that people accuse all "government agents" as being bad. I know quite a few and they hardly agree with the choices our government makes. Sometimes you need to try and change things from the inside.
