DNA testing on 2,000-year-old bones in Italy reveal East Asian ancestry

While I am not an expert on this, I feel it is interesting how many of us share surprising genetic ancestry to various groups of people all over the world.

This find reveals that East Asians and others outside Europe still have thier descendants living in Europe. Could it be that more and more genetic similarity is found between Asians and Europeans.

And what would have been the race of this East Asian man who was living in Rome?

Researchers excavating an ancient Roman cemetery made a surprising discovery when they extracted ancient mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) from one of the skeletons buried at the site: the 2,000-year-old bones revealed a maternal East Asian ancestry.

"These preliminary isotopic and mtDNA data provide tantalizing evidence that some of the people who lived and died at Vagnari were foreigners, and that they may have come to Vagnari from beyond the borders of the Roman Empire," says Prowse. "This research addresses broader issues relating to globalization, human mobility, identity, and diversity in Roman Italy."

Based on her work in the region, she thinks the East Asian man, who lived sometime between the first to second centuries AD—the early Roman Empire—was a slave or worker on the site.

A UK TV documentary interviewed white nationalists from different social classes. For example, one was an aristocratic Lady and one was a bar comedian with racist jokes about blacks and asians. They all supported 'repatriation' of non-whites.

It was cool to see their faces when their DNA results came back and their ancestry was revealed. The aristocrat was a mixed-bag of races from Romany Gypsy to Spanish and North East Asia. The racist comedian was largely descended from North West Africa and Berber Arabs.

If the cost of DNA family tree reports wasn't so expensive, it'd be interesting to check out my family's. We're all mongrels and half-breeds. I posted a map from wikipedia that shows the size of the Mongol Empire.
And don't forget they were nomadic people before and during this time and very wide spread. They didn't have a crusade and kill the people they just took over running the land.

The mongolians would chase locust and burn them and the crops they were in to destroy them and stop there spread. Then they would build temples of the locust to celebrate defeating the locust. (And the joyful altars shall be abolished, and the sacrifices of Israel shall be set aside.)
The leaders would wear silk from caterpillars ("one caterpilar" king Gog.) But these leaders did not come to conquer and destroy but to protect and promote peace because they were nomadic and moved constantly without a government capital so to speak of. (I will not pass by them any more.)
