I've only looked up the first conversation in your link and it appears to be loosely based on the actual conversation that happened.

From Apollo 16 Lunar Surface Journal

124:30:19 Duke: Okay. (Pause) And if you'll notice, I'm carrying John's bag, and the shovel, and I'm not taking the gnomon. (Pause)

124:30:42 Young: Okay.

124:30:45 Duke: Man, that's gonna be a little steep ridge to climb (up to the rim of Buster). (Long Pause)

124:31:07 Duke: You get - (Pause) Yeow whee! Man, John, I tell you, this is some sight up here, looking down into that beauty.

124:31:19 Duke: (Slightly winded from the climb) Tony, the blocks in Buster are covered...(Correcting himself) The bottom is covered with blocks - the largest 5 meters across. The blocks seem to be (in) a preferred orientation, northeast to southwest. They go all the way up the wall on those two sides; and on the other sides, you can only barely see them outcropping in about 5 percent. Ninety percent of the bottom is covered with blocks that are 50 centimeters and larger. And I'll get a partial pan into there.

124:32:12 England: Good show. It makes it sound like a secondary.

124:32:14 Duke: And...(Stops to listen)

124:32:18 Young: I know, boy.

124:32:20 Young: Okay, Houston, I'm back (at the Rover). The sensor number 1 is on there and...

124:32:26 Young: Mark.

124:32:27 England: Okay; we started the clock. (Pause)

124:32:33 Duke: Tony, if that is a secondary, that is a big rock that hit in there.

I wouldn't trust the 'conversations' in your link at all.

Have these conversations been on ATS before, I'm trying to get some validation, for all we know they could be made up?

You'll have to go through the transcripts to find out for yourself.

But you won't go and read through the transcripts, will you?

Edit:

Did you know the Apollo astronauts saw what looked like fires on the moon?

That's what they said: "bonfire" and "campfire".

Clearly these astronauts had been hanging out with the likes of John Lear. How else could one explain them seeing fire; could it be they actually saw fire? Naw, the nonsensical nutty friend hypothesis is more likely. These astronauts were influenced by a nut.... they had to be. There is no fire on the moon. There can't be.

The last transcripts on that web page:

Here is reproduced completely the dialogue between the American astronauts and Control Center: Armstrong & Aldrin: Those are giant things. No, no, no - this is not an optical illusion. No one is going to believe this! Houston (Christopher Craft): What ... what ... what? What the hell is happening? What's wrong with you? Armstrong & Aldrin: They're here under the surface. Houston: What's there? (muffled noise) Emission interrupted; interference control calling 'Apollo 11'. Armstrong & Aldrin: We saw some visitors. They were here for a while, observing the instruments. Houston: Repeat your last information! Armstrong & Aldrin: I say that there were other spaceships. They're lined up in the other side of the crater! Houston: Repeat, repeat! Armstrong & Aldrin: Let us sound this orbita ... in 625 to 5 ... Automatic relay connected ... My hands are shaking so badly I can't do anything. Film it? God, if these damned cameras have picked up anything - what then? Houston: Have you picked up anything? Armstrong & Aldrin: I didn't have any film at hand. Three shots of the saucers or whatever they were that were ruining the film Houston: Control, control here. Are you on your way? What is the uproar with the UFOs over? Armstrong & Aldrin: They've landed here. There they are and they're watching us. Houston: The mirrors, the mirrors - have you set them up? Armstrong & Aldrin: Yes, they're in the right place. But whoever made those spaceships surely can come tomorrow and remove them. Over and out. _________________________________________________________________ The following is from:
www.holli.com... A certain professor, who wished to remain anonymous, was engaged in a discussion with Neil Armstrong during a NASA symposium. Professor: What REALLY happened out there with Apollo 11? Armstrong: It was incredible, of course we had always known there was a possibility - the fact is, we were warned off! There was never any question then of a space station or a moon city. Professor: How do you mean "warned off"? Armstrong: I can't go into details, except to say that their ships were far superior to ours both in size and technology - Boy, were they big!...and menacing! No, there is no question of a space station. Professor: But NASA had other missions after Apollo 11? Armstrong: Naturally - NASA was committed at that time, and couldn't risk panic on Earth. But it really was a quick scoop and back again. According to a Dr. Vladimir Azhazha: "Neil Armstrong relayed the message to Mission Control that two large, mysterious objects were watching them after having landed near the Moon module (LEM). But this message was never heard by the public - because NASA censored it."

I really truly believe that there are bases on the Darkside. Is there a reason the Moon doesn't rotate? It is the only moon in our SolarSys that doesn't. Anyway... thanks for this thread, very very interesting!

"we were warned off" yuppers, and that's why we will not be going back in the near future.

Peace out from Berzerkeley

And, because it's on the internet, it must be true, right?

Are you aware that Chris Craft never spoke directly to astronauts in space, nor did any other flight director?

Also, every word from the Apollo astronauts to MCC was in the clear, and was heard live by observers in the gallery and at manyt remote stations. Even amateur radio operators listened-in to the audio downlink (not to mention the Soviets). Not only is there no corroborating evidence for these communications, there are several indicators that this quote was written by someone who was not familiar with MSFN procedures and protocols.

I really truly believe that there are bases on the Darkside.

*sigh* There is no side of the Moon that's always dark. There is the nearside and the farside. That's it.

Is there a reason the Moon doesn't rotate? It is the only moon in our SolarSys that doesn't.

Wrong on both counts. The Moon does rotate 360 degrees on its axis every month. However, it also goes 360 degrees around the Earth during the same interval, so the same side always faces Earth. Its called
tidal locking. Far from being the only moon in the solar system to be tidally locked, almost all of the hundreds of moons in the solar system are tidally locked to their planets. Phobos, Io, Ganymede, Titan, Iapetus, Miranda, Triton, Charon... In fact, the only one that I can think of that doesn't is Hyeperion - an irregularly-shaped moon in distant orbit of Saturn. Other distant moons (possibly captured asteroids) may have also avoided lock, but I don't know.

"we were warned off" yuppers, and that's why we will not be going back in the near future.

Tell it to the Chinese!

Peace out from Berzerkeley

Hey! I was born in Walnut Creek! My dad used to work at the Space Science Lab up on the hill; and we flew kites at the Lawrence Hall of Science. I still visit the Rose Garden every time I go there. Peace-out indeed! You brought back some beautiful memories...
