Drama - Help us choose a cover song!

Hello all,

My band Drama is currently participating in this year's UK Live and Unsigned competition and have we've just managed to pass through to the audition stages. The first 'live stage' takes place in March.

Interestingly, we have been given a task! The first live stage requires us to perform a 3:30 song, half Drama, half cover. To try to get others involved, we're asking people to help us choose a track to cover with the intention of recording a demo version of it next week.

The song doesn't have to be in the 'rock' genre, in fact, we're eager to get our hands on something completely unexpected in order to give it the 'Drama' treatment.

Controversial suggestions are most welcome!

How about doing a cover of "Let Your Fingers Do The Walking" by Danish band Sort Sol? Just an idea...

Ive always wanted to see the song be redone by a dirty rock band. Its got he "big sound" and octave increase crescendo for chorus that goes well in contests And you can make the crowd clap along with you...eeeee too funny!

Here's one that, to my knowledge, has NEVER been covered by ANYONE! (and it's such a killer song!)
