ok, i tried to make this thread earlier in my introduction because I didn't have enough posts to create it, but it was deleted. So I started posting and getting to know a few members here. I realize I am not an ATS veteran so maybe some of you that are could help me shed some light on this?

The story:

I was taking a shower earlier and the bar of soap I have been using for about a month now suddenly displays some letters on it...and I think it is a name. I picked it up and washed my face with it and after I rinsed, I looked down and there were letters in it. I was kind of freaked out, but not really because its in my girlfriends house and we kind of know it is haunted because it is by a cemetery. I guess you can tell I am skeptical of it all..until now. You get letters that appear in your soap and tell me how you feel. Honestly, I feel abit akin to the lady who sees Jesus in her alphabet soup. None the less, I am sitting here with a bar of soap with a name in it that I did not carve into it.

My question I guess is, do soap makers normally write hidden messages in soap for you to find as you use it? In all my years of using soap (all my life) I have never seen anything like this.

Anyways, here is the image. Note that the letters are alot more prominent when you are actually looking at it than they are in the picture. I can't seem to get a good shot of it that makes it look as clear as I can see it.

Edit: Oh, and the letters clearly spell "EVe" on the first line and "eller" on the second. I think its the name Eve Eller although I have no idea who that is or even if that's what it's supposed to mean.

I was seeing this girl once, and all the sudden in my apartment my soap was engraved with these weird writings.

Guess what was going on...... just guess.

This writing was not on the soap before I used it and appeared almost immediately afterwards.

I want to know how you get a bar of soap to last a month?!

It looks like a stamped image to me, partially missing letters but you can see an oval shaped stamplike marking around the letters that are there.

I only use the soap to wash my face and ears. I use body wash for all my other 2000 parts. I see what you mean about the outline around the letters. i noticed that myself too. And it does look like a stamp, but i just wanna know how the hell it got there? is it possible to stamp inside a bar of soap so that you can see it after you use it? Is this common? It was a bar of Coast soap btw.

Also, I think that is partly because after it appeared and dried, I tried to wet it again and wipe my thumb around it to see if maybe there were some more letters hidden under there, but there aren't. What you see is all there is to it.

Why didn't you think to walk around the cemetery looking for Eve Eller's gravestone?

When you get there you will find a clue, or a picture of your girl friend (which I left there for you).

the more I look at the soap used (Coast, right?) the more I see that maybe it said "Eye Opener" and the first part of the work "opener" got 'soaped' off?
Isn't Coast soap, as the commercial, says "The Eye Opener"?

wow, if i would have known a forum full of conspiracy people would be so quick to make fun of me I would not have posted this. I just kind of wanted to share an experience with people but I can see it is not really appreciated here.

Strange man. I don't have a clue, I can't wait now to get home in the morning and check my bar of Coast for any letters! I know one side does have letters, on the topside, but I am pretty sure it just says Coast.

edit to add: note that the letters in 'Eve' are a capital and then lowercase e, does not fit the 'eye opener' logo on the ad.

It clearly says Eye, not Eve on your soap bar.

Coast is "The Eye Opener"

It's obvious what happened dude, we're not making fun of you - just showing you what it is.

Viola! I just read my bar of Coast soap, and indeed it DOES say "The Eye Opener". The "The" on the soap is just to the left of the EYE part, kind of slanted.

awesome. mystery solved! like zoiks. i guess I need a sandwich scoob. I guess whats stranger is that no one noticed that it said anything until today. I guess it does say the eye opener. too bad i feel really really effing dumb right now. oh well. thanks guys! Sorry to get peoples hopes up. I'm just glad I'm not crazy. Whew...or maybe I am for thinking it was something supernatural. I have to admit...it is really funny now that I think about it.

On the packaging OPENER is all capital letters as well. That doesn't mean much, just that the packaging and actual soap bar have different styles of the same phrase.

if you have an unused Coast soap next to u then u can see the "opener" part is in lower-case letters.
