I see by the lack of flags on this thread that republicans and democrats are conflicted as to how to respond.

Let me clue you in.

1. The Taliban does not hate us because we are free.

2. The Taliban does not hate us because we are predominately Christian

3. The Taliban does not particularly give a flying crap about us as a nation.

The Taliban cares about control of Afghanistan.

The warlords in control of Afghanistan right now are hired thugs that run the drug trade for the CIA.

The Taliban kicked those dirt bags out, we put them back in.

Yes, the Taliban is hard-core Muslim and believes in Sharia law, etc.. etc.. and they view us as apostates, but they aren't the ones who attacked us on 9/11. The 9/11 high-jackers were Saudi.

Yes, the Taliban is authoritarian and they don't run a democracy, but its not our business to run the Afghan government. There are enough Afghani's over there to overthrow any government should they choose too. Its the Afghani people's responsibility to setup the government they want - not ours. If they ask for our help, that's one thing - but they didn't.

The entire purpose of this so-called bribe is to further fund the CIA backed insurgency.

They want us over there. They need us over there. The "war on terror" is nothing more than a looting spree for fascist corporations, and they are using this war to prop up the economy.

This unproductive expenditure on war is eventually going to implode the dollar.

This bribe will go straight into the CIA warlords pockets.
