There was a film made some time ago in England that's relevant here.
If you are going to sell your organs by signing up for that $400, you have to be ready to hand them over when required.



An alternative could be to move to China, where the government owns all your organs and is free to sell collect them and label them any time it wants.

- Unless you are a dog or cat, in which case your organs can't even be used to make soup anymore, thus proving the government really does care.

Hello, while that may well be the case in the USA it's certainly not here in the UK. The docs are paid an annual salary by the hospital and the hospitals are funded by the government which in turn is funded by the British taxpayer. No one makes money from transplants in the UK. That's why people donate. We even do live donor kidney transplants here. No money is exchanged. A weird concept for you people over the pond I realise but it's worked for years. It's a fairer system than private medicine.
