When I was young I saw something
In the sky....
I was standing by my house with a freind it was still summer and had nothing to do so we were just watching the sun go down and night fall. Just after dark WE both noticed at the same time a light that was moving in unatural ways but it was clearly an object no reflection there was no sun and any airplanes and helicopters that were in the area could easily be seen for what they were. There was no fog and the moon was not up yet. We new stars dont jump around in the sky and that satellites are far above earth they just twinkle. So the object we noticed that streaked from right to left got bigger as we pointed and discussed it it got so close to us i swear my heart stopped for a second or three. The light then jumped straight up then back and forth so quickly we ran back to my house the object stayed above my yard for about five or so minutes then the craziest part it didnt vanish it blinked out with a trail that quickly disappeared for years we took pride in knowing there is more to life then we people have discovered it was sobering and i have always felt kinda chosen or lucky for me there is no doubt something is bouncing around in the cosmos and its not an illusion drugs mental illness or what have you i am a sober buisness owner no meds or anything and to this day when i tell people the first resoponse that i hear is this isnt something youve ever talked about and why not. My answer has always been the same because i have seen and i know i personally saw what we here all question everyday. The hooting and name calling for proof and disclosure the your on drugs statements the your on psychiatric meds statements. there may be a lot of cooks here on ats but i have just realized today what if there are others like me that really know too.
To this day (im 31 now) all i have to say to my buddy Dan is you remember that night on the trail by my house and the hair on my arms stands up as he smiles and we usually say no more. My father has passed on some years ago and was a real mans man that night he actually looked like he was not sure. ive never since seen a look in such a powerful mans eyes of just wonder. He may have brushed it off as was his strenghth my freind and eye graduated and have familys (geez my hair is standing up right now..) but i know i dont need proof i dont need Obama to tell me . Its all there dont look so hard is my understanding and its all right there for us to see. Look how many members are on ats that seem to share a bond and spend countless hours searching for proof that we may not need its clear we all know theres more to life then the ten oclock news and the governments tell us.

So thats how I became interested in the conspiracy websites for me it is all good fun cause i need no proof and enjoy reading the crazy statements people pose sometimes they erk me sometimes i really learn but from one eyewitness to the world we are not alone freinds.

I am aware all statements here will probably be seen as here say but i think it will surprise us how many similarities our stories share and that there may be unseen connections driving our movement this thread will hopefully lead to at least one new concept idea or truth thats my hope.....

Well, hopefully you can break up your posts into more paragraphs so they are easier to read. That aside, there is a lot of very profound things going on in the world. The matrix created by our Government to keep us in the dark is nothing compared to the matrix we exist in that keeps our government in the dark.

Reality is a very perplexing thing with many a strange act of fiction being more true then we like to believe.

Im not sure what you want us to tell you other than stuff like this normally go into the gray area.

I came to ATS via an invitation by another member who thought this place would provide to me an excellent source of information in all matters of UFO/Paranormal and fringe sciences.

They proved correct. I have learned vast amounts of knowledge by becoming an ATS resident. Also, it has allowed me to expand on my own theories of everything which furthered my descent into great thinkers and realizations about the fundamental nature of reality from a not-so materialistic limited belief system.

Life is better since ATS.

What do you think the truth really is? You seem to be alluding to a greater reality then the one we think is real.

I too saw something when I was around 6 or 7 or so. I saw the moon, about 2000%, (rough guess), closer to Earth. I mean it was EIGHTY TIMES bigger than it usually was, it was still light out, around 45 mins to dusk, AND IT WAS REAL! How many things do YOU remember from 6 or 7 years old? It was that real.

How do I explain it? I don't. I can't. But I know what I saw. WELCOME to our world friend.

I was about 8 or 9 year's old when I was at a friends house spending the night we heard a lot of dogs barking so we went out to the backyard and noticed his dog barking at the sky. We looked up and saw a bright light move in an out of trees very fast and behind it a disc shaped object with red, blue, green, yellow, and whit lights going in a circle at the center of the object. Needless to say we freaked out and ran inside to this day I don't know what it was. Oh this was in the early 80's. (I was in Louisiana when this happened)


Also when I was 18 I was driving my brother home and we came to a four way stop and noticed people standing out side of the cars and looking up so I put my truck in neutral and put the brake on and got out to look and saw a cigar shape thing flying really slow with no sound and all of a sudden it just took off out of sight. (I was in Florida when this happen)


So yes your not alone and it does change everything when you witness something like this I know it changed me.

Well, things are definitely happening and they've been happening. I believe that you saw something for sure and let me tell you...you're not alone whatsoever. I'm sure you'll get your fair share of debunkers claiming that they know what you saw in the sky that night better than you do, but just ignore them. They're only there to confuse you.

AWwww Nuts! my thread has died so much fo my experiment i know we all have a reason for being apart of ATS and i was really hoping that by sharing our initial inspirations for joining might shed light and provide evidence of conspiarcys/mysterys.

Ah, I also have a moment like that with a friend in which all I have to say is, remember that night in the forest? and we both get goosebumps and that is all we need to say.
