Forgotten or Unknown Films

Begotten is a pretty messed up Movie but also a pretty clever and layered one.
Even the soundtrack (crickets, Wind, Thunder and so on) is quite strange.


I didn't particularly like it too much but i did appreciate it as a piece of art and as a very unique film.

Anything written by Philip K. Dick has what it takes to be sweet. It is directed by Richard Linklater and has the unique animation featured in Waking Life

I saw this movie not that long ago. Really liked it. Loved the animation.

I can't be the only one who enjoyed this film. I hear nothing about this film but it is one of my favorite Tim Burton films.

I enjoyed it too. It's my favorite movie by Tim Burton.

I'm slightly reluctant to recommend it, but "Salò" (or 'The 120 Days of Sodom') is one of those films you kinda gotta watch if you want to call yourself a film-buff.

I used to watch The halloween that almost wasn't every year near halloween but I havent seen it in decades. Its cheesy but I remember it very well from my childhood.

I agree with the above about Ghost Dog: Way of the Samurai, a brilliant movie.

The one that I think really got overlooked is Sorcerer with Roy Schieder:

Kenneth Anger's work is always interesting. I recommend starting with Inauguration of the Pleasure Dome, if you haven't seen it.

Also, pretty much anything by Werner Herzog is worth a watch.

And hopefully it doesn't need to be mentioned, but just to be certain: everything Stanley Kubrick was ever involved in is mandatory viewing.

Iv'e seen all of Fellini's films. I love his style almost as much as Hitchcocks' and Bergman.

Antichrist is pretty out there... it seems to straddle the thin line between art film and exploitation cinema. The Beyond, anybody?

Perhaps my English and my post is not apt to this thread. What I'm going to inquire is a movie name I forgotten.

Only rough plot I remembered was following:

A science team developed a time machine which were capable to make time gone back. But their nearly successful test cause time gone mess on a young man.

The young man always went to a fixed time in past but without memory losing. Gradually he realized this was happened regularly by purpose and he found the member a beautiful young lady who was a double doctor in that science team, told her the dangerous truth.

By the every mid-night 0:02 they met each other and the young man could make out what she had done before so accurate that made her believe him.

After the female doctor asked the chief of team to abandon this project but got refused, the team chief, decided these two younger should be killed. In terminal fight, the immature time machine was destroyed and the team chief also died in time machine runing.

Above was all I can tell out, who know the name of this movie?

I'm a sucka for any Gregory Peck movies... Capt. Hornblower,
Roman Holiday, Moby Dick and Big Country are fantastic.

Silence of The Lambs holds my heart, along with
The Searchers. 'Big-shoulders' John Wayne sits on the
right-hand side of John Huston in heaven.

But when it's Christmas time, the classic 'It's A Wonderful
Life' has me sobbing into my pink hankerchief... *sniff, sniff*

I also enjoyed Gran Torino, Black Christmas (the original),
Meet Joe Black, Two Lane Blacktop, Slapshot, Badlands and
of course, Thunderbolt and Lightfoot... the Jeff Bridges-as-a
-woman part, makes me swoon!!
