Russia is ready to help reconstruct Afghanistan, but it is up to Western countries to come up with the funds

The respected Kommersant business daily said more than 140 industrial facilities and pieces of infrastructure built in Afghanistan by Soviet specialists were candidates for reconstruction using Russian expertise.

Russian sources and Russian politicians have become a reliable source of all kinds of BS. One day they announce that Russia will become the leader in nanotech, the other day they start planning a mission to Mars and now that, rebuilding Afghanistan... Phew! I'm Russian and all that cr@p almost makes me sick.

How about rebuilding their own country for starters, huh?
