No, State of the Union is his and his alone. He is supposed to tell us what is right or wrong with the country. Instead he continues to campaign for 2012.

Well, I just wasted an hour and ten minutes of my life, when I could have been working on homework.

I wanted to describe this thing as a freak show, but that would have been a complement.

The only disclosure that I saw in the speech was that "Judy Garland Night" on the millitary base just got a LOT more interesting!

Enjoyed it with you as well. President Obama is a charismatic and eloquent speaker.

I hope a fraction of these promises can be realized. I was a bit shocked to hear of the vast amount of Americans that have been employed, particularly in the face of the increasing unemployment.

I hope reality will catch up with his idealism.

Surprise, surprise.

Although my prediction was sort of right: he never quite mentioned the real statistics of unemployment or underemployment.

But great speech though. I definitely like him a hell of a lot more after tonight. Will try to look into some of these bills he is trying to pass. He pretty much hit the nail right on the head several times.

All of you people saying that they're clapping too much, I hope you said the same during the last State of the Union addresses. It's nothing new...

Can't wait to see how the decent stuff in his speech will get spun around wrong. Or just flat out denied because he's a dern Demercrat!
