I doubt it, the amount of rust on those ships can't be part of an elaborate hollywoodesq plot.

As asked above, the environmental aspects have to be considered. How many hot reactors are sitting on the dock waiting to be decommissioned? Thats pretty scary.

Russia is better served economically in the long run anyway. They still need a blue water navy, but not a massive one like thay had in the cold war. Also, olot of thier early submarines were deadly (not to us but thier crews)
Better they are never used
