The vaults have been excavated. There are quite a number of artists whose performances haven't been heard, in full or otherwise.
I have been listening to Joe Cocker's performance in sequence. It's excellent. Apparently this was between his first and second albums. They had
to retrieve Joe and the band (the Grease Band) from England so they could play the festival.
The sound quality is surprisingly good. Although it's not indicated on the notes, I believe there was an eight track recording system in place
(eight track reel to reel, not 8track cartridge).
If you're a Joe Cocker fan, this is a must-have.
As an aside, Jimi's "Star Spangled Banner" never fails to make the hair on the back of my neck stand up.
