What are some good ethical alternative Gasoline companies to Shell and Exxon with quality gas?

Looking for 'ethical' companies here.

Btw, I live in Washington State if that helps.

I am pretty sure ethical and gas/oil/petrol company do not go together. I am not trying to witty or funny either.

Try to find a mom and pop shop.
Better to spend money their then most other places.

Well, atleast the least of the evils, cause I know Shell and Exxon are pretty much at the top of the list.

What about Chevron?

There is a store in town that sells biodiesel at 99c a gallon, but I need gasoline for my car.

I dont think i have ever seen a small mom and pop store that sells gasoline. If there are any, i'd agree with spaz.

It really makes me mad that these big oil companies have everyone by the balls, making us pay sometimes outrageous prices for a valuable resource, which inherently belongs to every person on the planet anyways.

I wish there was a different way to get to work during the freezing cold winter.

Edit to add: Even if there are local businesses selling fuel, the money still inevitably goes into the hands of those companies, so why bother?
