Haiti rich in unexplored hydrocarbons, precious metals?, page 1

According to this fellow, Haiti may be awash in oil, gold, and other precious metals. Hmmm.

I do not know how much truth there is to this man's assertions, but it certainly adds a new wrinkle to a tragic story.

...Haiti happens to be rich in unexplored hydrocarbons (with potential oil reserves larger than those of Venezuela) , gold, copper, uranium 238 and 235 and other strategic metals (iridium),according to scientists and geologists quoted below. (also see USGS oil suvey maps from the 1920's) ..and a more recent resources map Mining and oil companies must be salivating.

Imagine for a moment a hypothetical "Foreign energy and mining takeover scenario." How might it unfolded masked by the earthquake?..think aid in exchange for exploration rights

I wasn't surprised to see that Haiti and the USA had a decades-old treaty, that in the event of a "disaster" that the US arny would take over control of the main airport in the capital-and that's exactly what happened in the first days after the quake...
