Most animals move in, use up all their resorces there, # up the place, move out. We just do it better.

How callous to rip parts of an animals body off and leave it to die in unimaginable pain slowly as seems obvious from some of the pictures here. I am horrified also at the trussing of animals.

The deforestation and filthy factories are caused by an elite group of people who hide behind the corporations they own and control. These are the serpents of the world from the "special" (especially evil) bloodlines...the incestuous ones.

This world and a large percentage of man"kind" disgust me to the bottom of my heart. No wonder the world we live in is rapidly becoming more akin to hell than what it could be - it's our group karma.

Nicely done.
And I want to add that if humans wipe themselves out then you could put "humans" at the end of that list of animals wiped out by humans. Except there wouldn't be anyone to write it.

I do agree the human race is a virus to the planet earth and its inhabitants. However, not all of us are bad for the planet. When I see pics like these, I just can't understand how people can do these things. It's completely foreign to me how people can kill, pillage, and destroy. Especially hunting for fun. Yeah, lets go kill an animal. That will make me feel better. I understand the need to eat meat, but a hunting trip where you have your young boys murder an animal. I just don't get it. I like to think those people capable of that are just not evolved as much. If my dad had asked me to go hunting I would have told him NO WAY JOSE! I don't want to kill a helpless deer. I don't want to kill anything. I just don't understand the pleasure people get from killing. I never will get it I guess, because the whole idea of killing for fun is absurd.

While I feel really bad about stupid people on this planet that have no remorse about killing off some of the animals on this planet, what i really fear is the idiot who may one day jump the gun and shoot off the first nuke, which causes the chain reaction that leads to the extiction of us all.

Human species is a learning imagantional creature from the one who started it all ...Now lets take time to learn Human self control can not reflect the human race...

Thank you for this thread. I've been saying this for a very long time now. We need to wake up and realize the harm and destruction we commit against not only the planet but the species that share mother Earth with.

I would go so far as to claim it is the ultimate end point of evolution. Evolution is defined as competition for the best. over time, by simple rule of evolution, one species eventually conquers. We see many forms of this in our fiction. It was bacteria in the War of the Worlds. Evolution there interacted beyond just our world, but through it all, competition eliminated everything except bacteria. It was trees in Avatar, where as the trees evolved total domination. So much so that their electrochemical abilities suppressed the sentient beings from advancement, forcing them to defend the world and trees. This is known as the Gaia hypothesis somewhat.

I would also argue that humans having the ability to realize this as being wrong is something beyond evolution, perhaps even spiritual. No other species cares about the effects of its own species onto the environment, even if the end point is destruction for all. Now admittedly many humans don't either, but that's nothing short of a result of this Fahrenheit 451 society we have built for ourselves.

In many ways it ponders the mind about alien worlds elsewhere, and the result of their similar conditions.

Ultimately it comes down to this. Humanity will either forcefully turn the world into the conditions which it was born from: hot desert with little water and resources so we limit ourselves. Or humanity will go to the stars, and essentially do exactly as Agent smith said.

Think about it. If we make it to other solar systems, is there any real point to our expansion and exploration other than to gain more resources to continue to grow our population exponentially for as long as we can expand somewhere? The ultimate end point of humans in space is, in fact, Avatar made real. But in no way will it end like the movie did. Because in real life, humans we harvest worlds.

I tell you this, the future of humanity is the bellow video:

Now make a list of all the great achievements mankind has done coupled with all of the animals we have saved. You see, you are judging ALL mankind as if a virus. There are 6.8 billion people living on earth and yes there are alot of bad apples out there but there are alot of good as well. Bad people can do ALOT of damage, some even dedicate their lives to doing bad things, hence a long stretch through time of bad viral type events. But there are alot of good people who do good things every day and you will never even hear about it. This world is hell-bent on focusing attention on evil and there are only a handful of people who are running agenda and the media to accomplish this goal. It is THEY who are the virus. It is the CIA who are the virus. It is rogue presidents and Rockefellers and Rothschilds and everyone who worships them who are the virus. Then, as mentioned there are just alot of "bad apples". But people are not a virus. A-holes are a virus and people who judge and admonish everyone of us and throw us into the same catagory as these A-holes,....you are a virus too.

So what do you propose we do? Stop being Human? Terminate our existence? I for one believe it is a course of nature. It just so happens that it is the survival of the fittest. Humans happen to be the fittest. Humans or no humans, # happens. Things are born and things die. Things prosper and things suffer. Horrible as it may seem, it is just the way things are.

It's better we Blame Global Capitalism and Imperialism for this instead Human Race Generally

Global capitalism encourages green energy, as you have to keep your global customers happy. Pollution is bad for business. Imperialism destroyed Africa, that's correct. But Imperialism has nothing to do with capitalism. Socialists, Monarchs, capitalists, and so many more have all been imperialists.

You should replace global capitalism with global corporations.

Up to 6.8 billion already? Jesus, it is how frightening how fast humans are multiplying. There NEEDS to be a mandatory world law limitting birth. Otherwise, it is simply impossible to help that many people that fast.

December, you seem to be are a very a caring person and this is very good thing. You look at cruelty and destruction around you want to stop it. Your solution is to kill humans.
(1) One good aspect is that you are trying to dissuade destruction of animals and plants, which imo is a fabulous character trait.
(2) However, your belief that the elimination of humans would stop the extinction of plants and animals, is not a correct one, according to facts. Thousands of species are becoming extinct. Thousands of species were becoming extinct event in ancient times. Despite your kind thoughts, you cannot control nature so to speak and ensure perfection in our absence, There is not a direction correlation between all "bad" that occurs and the existence of humans.
(3) You have a fantasy view of the plant and animal kingdoms. You seem to believe that in the absence of people, animals would somehow exist in a peaceable kingdom. But the facts do not suport you in this regard. Google if you will a herd of 20+ lions in Africa that kill for sport. No lie. Accord to researchers, this is a relativeley new development. Formerly, they didn't prey on elephants as they believed they couldn't kill them. But in recent yrs, they learned that they as a group could bring down elephants. Further the same pack of lions among others are killing for sport. They kill and walk away. Your view includes no room for this real fact of nature.
(4) You are lacking in a framework for understanding why bad things happen. I will conclude you do not believe in a Creator. You believe you are in control and absent your concern, there will be no happy ending to the chaos that occurs in nature.
(5) Placing animals and plants on an equal footing, therefore, with human beings, you do not see the contradiction between killing what you believe to be innocent plant and animal life and killing innocent human life.
The principal problem with what you believe is that it allows a slippery slope. Once you consent to th killing of huma life as a solution to what bugs you, you must understand that the selection and volume of slaughter is beyond your selection and control.

I think it was the great American George Carlin who once said:
Don't worry about the planet, when she gets fed up she'll shake us off like so many fleas off of a dog!
Carlin... god i miss him so.

First of all, EVERYBODY should read the book "Ishmael" by author Daniel Quinn. Then after that read his two sequels "My Ishmael" and "The Story of B".

www.amazon.com...

Before you do that, check out these videos. Derrick Jensen is great and I LOVE this web-series called "It's the End of the World As We Know It and I Feel Fine":

(The next video is satire, btw. Environmentalists didn't actually write the first version of Star Wars
