Ok, first I must preface this with this. I hope this in the right section I found a similar posting and just clicked start new thread; mods feel free to move this to where it needs to be.


Ok so my whole life I have been drawn to the constellation of Orion, it’s the only constellation I can actually pick out the night sky. There has always been something comforting about looking at it for me, when I’m stressed or nervous I look to Orion. I don’t know why I do this but I do. So in my 25 years on this planet I have talked to 2 different psychics/tarot card readers, one being my sister the other being a lady who ran her own shop in a town not to far from where I live.

The first one I ever talked to was my sister this was approximately 9 years ago. She told me that I had a very old soul and was somehow linked to Orion among other things; I just laughed this off, and chalked it up to her one knowing my obsession with Orion and her being a little crazy.

Then this happened two days ago wed Jan 20, I walked into this ladies "shop" and wanted to get my cards read and my future told, I was going in front of a job committee to see if I was getting fired or not on Thursday. Upon walking in and talking to the receptionist I took a seat to wait my turn there were two groups of people in front of me. When out walked the medium she looked at me and then talked to her receptionist and went back into her "office”. The receptionist came over to me and told me to go on back ahead of the other waiting customers I was kind of shocked by this but was happy that I was getting in faster than I had thought I would. I walked back into the "office" which smelled of incense and something kinda fruity and sat down. This is where things got a little freaky to me, she said

“You sir a very old soul, a son of Orion, whom has bestowed on you a great gift and a great burden. Your destiny is set in stone and has been for many ages, do not worry about the problems you have today they are irrelevant to the problems you will face. Now please leave and do not come back I will not see you in the future, your destiny is not for me to tell."

She got up and walked out of the room without me ever saying a single word, needless to say I was a bit shocked I sat there for a while waiting to see if she was coming back and when she hadn’t after a few min I went back out to the lobby and asked the receptionist what I owed and if I could talk to the medium again. The receptionist told me that I didn’t owe anything and that no I could not speak to her, as she had left and was not coming back that day.


Ok this creaped me out just shy of a week ago I got a tattoo on my back



Of what else but the constellation Orion in an Egyptian theme. I received this tattoo in a town three and a half hours away from where I got my "fortune" read.

Has anyone else heard of being a son of Orion? Or had an experience close to this if so please share I’m kinda freaked out by all this.

I can't say I've heard of it before, however, your story has a very personal connection to myself. I too, as long as I can remember, have had an otherworldly fascination with Orion. There are some nights where I will arrive home from work and just stand there waiting to see it if there is a cloud covering, or sometimes I just stare add it for odd amounts of time.

I have never had my futures read or anything like that, but I can relate to what the medium said on a personal level. I seem to have developed the thinking myself that the problems today and what I choose to do are just small steps towards a greater destiny. I have felt this way for the past two or three years now.

My guess is that that universe works in mysterious ways, and it is simply another clue to how we are all interconnected with the universe and all of our surroundings. Fate and destiny seem to be more than just superstition or hearsay.

Strange, I had an obsession with Orion also. When I was about 12 I was looking at Orion and I was positive it was trying to communicate with me. I have always dismissed this because at the time I was on a very powerful and addictive drug. Fortunately I did not continue the use of this drug. Orion's belt still pops out when I look into the starry sky.

So what happened with the job. I hope you kept your position or better yet got a promotion. These are tough times we are in, especially job wise.

Wow I thought I was the only one. Orion is usually the first constellation I see when I look up into the sky, and I always feel a certain frequency or "vibe" coming from that area of the sky.

It's like I'm trying to remember something, but can't quite put my finger on it. That's what happens to me.

Hey, you guys wanna start a Sons of Orion Club? Maybe we can get some more info on why these stars seem to talk to us. I can start a website.

but the thing is, I don't really even understand any of it myself. We should try and find some more information on Orion. Maybe our ATS idren can help us out?

Please, nobody tell me I'm a alien reptilian. If I am, I want superpowers dammit. I doubt we could find any real evidence on why this group of stars draws at us. It is nice, however, to have some theories.

Maybe this is why I was sent to the old Hopi man. I have never met anybody like him. Thanks for the Hopi info. I got the excitment tingles all over my head right now. I feel like driving the 500 miles and trying to find the old man's hole in the ground. There is something very spiritual about all of this. I may be losing my faith in science and the ways of modern man.
