Some headlines are calling it "the day that healthcare died".

article

WASHINGTON – Democrats' last-ditch approach to saving President Barack Obama's sweeping health care overhaul — prodding House members to pass a Senate version vastly unpopular with them — isn't working.
So lawmakers are talking about more modest health legislation that could have bipartisan appeal, though even that may prove more complicated than many suggest.

Amazing what just one election can accomplish. What many of us have hope for.

Oh, and look! The democrats are even talking about making the healthcare bills have bipartisan appeal. A far cry from the closed door bribery sessions the democrats were using to get their previous versions passed.

I like this part from the article

"We're not in a big rush" on health care, Pelosi said. "Pause, reflect."

Absolutely. Hypocrisy at its finest.

Wanted to post the entire article because of gems like this, but ATS frowns on that.

Nancy will continue to "pause and reflect" this November when the
GOP takes control of the House of Representatives.

Yeah, amazing stuff..

I liked how obama was pointing the finger at the banks saying "we want our money back" Maybe he could do that here beings these politicians are basically getting paid for having done no work.

I do not think its enough that they simply don't get re elected.

Its what the supporters of his proposed promises of change should expect him to do..
