Ahh, a interview with John Lear done by project camelot. They were discussing ATS and he was telling how he got banned from the site or whatnot. They then went into speculation about how ATS might be a monitering station for the CIA to see how much intel is out in the public.

figured, might as well check out this place.

no such thing as bad press.

Snap !

Yepp , John Lear giving ATS a good old bashing .

To be honest ...... the name of the site i.e Above Top Secret , was a bit of a turn off for me at the time .

It still is really .....

a bit cheesy ......

Still - the content is fantastic and that's what really matters i suppose.

So I ask what caused you to come to this site? How did you find AboveTopSecret.com?

I came here originally hoping somebody could explain to me what it was I saw up in the sky one fine night...

it got over-explained - and now my head hurts

so, I no longer wonder about that so much, but I am still here

my home away from home - several very short steps away from making it my permanent residence

:-)

I started researching shadow people originally, because I had an encounter/experience with one, when I was younger. That led me too looking into OBEs, which seemed very closely connected to some UFO abduction stories and experiences. While researching UFO abductions, I came across “Project Camelot’s” website and videos. That in turn led me somehow, to ATS, which I think was mentioned, in one of their video interviews.

Originally, I was just planning on posting my story, about my shadow man encounter but I never really had the guts lol to post it. Since I joined ATS, I have become sidetracked by other topics…

I had visited the site for years until finally in 2007 while searching for stuff on Lake Vostok and NAZI-alien Antarctic bases I found an ATS thread (which I haven't been able to find again..
) on drilling in Lake Vostok.

The members were keeping hour by hour reports on drilling going on and after that I was hooked. Been here ever since, except for a little nine month hiatus last year. Now I am fully hooked on this site.

Hi Rising Against, I come to this site due John Lear when he has a very interesting interview on Coast to Coast with host George Noory - Moon Mining Operations etc - Coast to Coast - Jan 17 2007.

John mentioned there that he knew a very interesting member on ATS called sleeper [later known as Lou Baldin] and that he was shore that that man had a really great insight of the extremely complicated UFO/ET phenomenon as a whole and more.

And in my opinion was John absolutely and without a doubt right there.

It all started with a search on Robert Lazar....and to this day, I can't make up my mind whether or not I believe him...as there's good evidence on both sides (more against him, imho....but my gut says he's convinced he's telling the truth).

I think I may have heard it mentioned during Coast to Coast as well and decided to hit it.
I liked what I saw and decided to sign up in 2004.
Spent most of the time trying to figure out the concept of it all.
I then forgot about for a few years until all of a sudden I started receiving emails every few days discussing the latest topics and such.
I then revisited the site and have been here ever since.

Been browsing the site for a long time, looking at various things, then just decided to sign up being as I spent so much time reading the site!

I think I found it originally through google, looking through religious topics? can't remember exactly, but I think it was along those lines.

Same with George Knapp...he knew Lazar fairly well. To this day, he considers Lazar to be the 'grey area' whereby he believes he was a serial liar/fraud etc but can't shake that lingering doubt about the odd details. Until I heard Knapp saying that , I was happy to file Knapp with frauds and cranks.

For me, it was five years ago... I was shopping downtown for
a little silky one-piece number to show off at Marion Mia's
benefit bash, when I had the strangest feeling I was being
watched as I tried my possible buy on.

I have learned to ingore the 'Oh my Gosh.. it's a boy in a
dress!' and 'is that a wig?' remarks... afterall, the're simple trues.
So one becomes toughened to the stares and wolf-whistles.

Anyway, someone was watching me and kicking off my high heels,
I slipped the dress on.... mmm, it was smooth and... oh I digress.

I peeked through the small space that all changing room curtains
are required to have and saw him... standing there.
He was tall, very tall and wore a long dark raincoat.
His head carried a old-style gangster hat... possibly a fedora and
his hands were hidden in the deep pockets of the coat.

I blushed, standing on one leg and trying to push my shoe back
on.. that's when I stumbled forward.
The dress was only half-pulled down, so you can guess my
embarrasment, but with lightning speed, he reached forward and
caught me.
His big arms steadied me and a faint wiff of Old Spice passed
my nostrils as I stood to my full height.

"You okay ma'am?" he said and I could tell from the rasping
sound there, he was a smoker.
I preened and flitted my eyelashes, the shadowed face gave
nothing away "Why yes good Sir, you've saved me... how will
I ever repay you?" I chided and sucked my stomach in.

"Just doin' my job Missy" he whispered and turned to go.
I grappled for my clothes strewn around the changing room floor
as I called over my shoulder... " How can I thank you?"

The man turned and like a hunk of granite, he blocked out the
light from the store. I'm a Moderator on ATS Ma'am" he said
and lit a strange-smelling cigarette.

As I watched wide-eyed, the strong-jawed stranger blew the
flame out, but not before I saw the good looks of this man...
"You can call me Springer" he hissed and strode away into
the passing minions in the store.

So now I'm a ATSer... and I shop at the same place every
Wednesday... just in case I stumble again.

I was always searching for UFO, Alien and Egyptian topics in Google and there were always links to threads on ATS so I finally decided to join after about a year or so of just reading the site. Now I am always on whether it be via mobile or on my laptop.
