Thought that people should know this fact! As this makes the recent H1n1 Virus outbreak to be very likely human engineered,.
As the odds is much better that its engineered then natural selection!
Firstly let me explain to you a process which is known as Re Assortment. Or think of it as Viral Sex” Because basically 2 or more different strains of virus meet and swap genes to make a new strain of virus.
From Wiki ( en.wikipedia.org... )

Reassortment is the mixing of the genetic material of a species into new combinations in different individuals. Several different processes contribute to reassortment, including assortment of chromosomes, and chromosomal crossover. It is particularly used when two similar viruses that are infecting the same cell exchange genetic material. In particular, reassortment occurs among influenza viruses, whose genomes consist of eight distinct segments of RNA. These segments act like mini-chromosomes, and each time a flu virus is assembled, it requires one copy of each segment.
If a single host (a human, a chicken, or other animal) is infected by two different strains of the influenza virus, then it is possible that new assembled viral particles will be created from segments whose origin is mixed, some coming from one strain and some coming from another. The new reassortant strain will share properties of both of its parental lineages.
In the case of H1n1 (Swine Flu) It was a Multiple Re Assortment of 6 different strains. Which is highly unlikely to happen, a mix of swine, avian and human influenza genetic sequences.
What we can sum up it has 2 genes that was recently in a bird virus, 1 gene that was in a human virus and the remainder genes, was recently in pig virus’s BUT!!! Two different pig virus’s from 2 different continents. You do the math for the odds.
Thought EVERYONE should know this as it’s the facts. You make your mind up on the likelihood of this not being engineered.]

You really don't hear much about H1N1 nowadays...

I think it was a failed attempt.

Wait till next year my friend. It will be around every winter in the flu months, its just a matter of time before it mutates into a kickass killer!
