Do dogs have a paw preference?

Or cats or other pets?

Meaning, are they left-pawed or right-pawed at all?

I'm left-handed but I don't think it got passed down to my dog. This evening he had his right paw on the laptop's touchpad and was just about to go surfing but decided he wanted his ears scratched more.

Dogs can be just like humans..either favoring left or right.

I would think so - my cat is a righty cos that is the paw she uses to open doors.
