Nancy Pelosi told reporters today that Democrats will get a bill some way or another, according to ABC News.

And now the New York Times reports that the way forward is to have the House vote directly on the Senate version which wouldn't require a second vote in the Senate.

I wanna know if this bothers any democrats?
Does it bother you that2/3rds of the country doesn't want this?
Have your leaders no shame?
Where is your leaders honor?
Why can't your leaders play fair?

Well we heard from one of the lib talking heads on MSNBC stating that the Democrats should cheat to win in Mass. tomorrow. Why would old bag Pelosi's staement suprise anyone? Lying, cheating and stealing their way into dictatorial powers is the agenda and the goal! To Hell with what the majority of Americans want, right Nancy!?

My only reason for praying for a Brown victory is the prospect of this healthcare abominatination being topped in its tracks - if possible.

Beyond that, Democrat or Republican matters not a whit. They are ALL crooks and thieves and liars. At least sans super-majority, the government will hit more gridlock which may just buy us the time we need to get them all out!!!

This healthcare bill is nothing but a HUGE payout to big Pharma and the insurance company...yet STILL....all I hear from conservative radio/tv is that they are against Obama's socialized medicine...when it's NOTHING like that at all.

All this really is....a battle between the healthcare industry and other corporations fighting for the little money you have left.

Cripes people.

Thread here that pretty much no one is commenting on that PROVES IT.
www.abovetopsecret.com...

This is something Bush would have passed.

Better think about that. Democrats and Republicans are having to answer to the public, This means the liberatarians, the Greenies, the Socialists, and the (especially) independents. There is real change taking place in this country.

Much of the public think this bill is socialize medicine. It's not. It's a big blank check to the healthcare industry.

Signals is right. The BS coming out of the media is completely distorting everything.

Yes, I agree the bill is complete crap..without a doubt...but people dont even know why they are against it. There are so many lies being thrown out there that most people who just lightly watch the news have no idea what is really happening.

Dearest Mr. Vai:

Please do not waste your time or effort telling the truth. People will either ignore it, argue it, or misconstrue it.

There have been to many backroom deals, to much under the table dealing. People don't trust the administration any longer, and Congress even less. The Tea Party movement has engaged the country, calling out various political entities, and joining them together. I believe there may be real change taking place here.

Real Change .

Because of the Tea Parties ?

The Tea Parties are more fragmented than a 500 piece puzzle,.

I agree. It's all corrupt. The 2010 elections won't change that though. People are going to vote Republican in droves and they are going to win many seats in Washington.

Do you have any idea what they are going to do to curb the deficit?
Cut taxes for corporations? The same corporations that have sent all of our jobs overseas for cheap labor? The same corporations and big money interests group that control our country will still control it after 2010.

The movement is being stalled. The people are willing and craving help but they will blow it again this year.

Republicans will be in trouble along with Democrats in 2012. By then, unemployment will continue to be high, inflation will continue to rise, workers wages will remain stagnant, corruption will remain rampant, and the wars will not end.

The real change will be after 2010 IMO.

Republicans have no answers and NO ONE is willing to raise tariffs on imports...nor talk about it at all. Why?

The craziest thing of all is that Brown, running is Mass., is against taxing the bankers who just received 150 billion in bonus money while people are losing their homes and jobs in droves....yet people are lining up to support him. So on one hand, you have one guy supporting the thieving banks...and on the other hand you have Coakley who is in the pocket of Big Pharma and Health Insurance Co.'s

Pick your poison. It hurts all the same.

There are many people barely holding on right now...just wait....

You're right. It's going to change though. As I stated in the previous post...people are going to have to make ANOTHER mistake before they realize what is happening.

Ideology only goes so far when you can no longer feed your family and put a roof over their head.

I was just notified by my work today that my pay is FROZEN AGAIN for the second straight year. This means I will go 3 years without a pay raise..yet prices are continuing to rise. This is happening to many people that are lucky to be working.

Can't complain or do anything about because there are no jobs out there and plenty of people that would take your own job.

I'm just barely making it and I don't know how much longer I can hold out. As long as I can keep feeding my little girl. If that becomes a problem...which it is for many of us out there...

Then REAL change will come. It has to.

The only way I ever , EVER see the US starting to back out of this

downward spiral is to pass another Law.

Most countries have this Law.

"It is against the Law to Bribe or Influence an Elected Official.

Simple.

My friend, you are thinking emotionally, not logically at this late hour. Big pharma does well under either scenerio. A principal point of socialist health care is adding more people to the trough. This didn't escape you, did it? The big pharma rant is a diversion....

What in the world do you mean "it's NOTHING like that at all"? It's exactly like this. You are contradicting yourself. You may not understand it's socialized medicine, but I assure you many people who oppose it understand this perfectly well. No need pls to confuse the only clear point about the debate.
