i actually find it hard to believe you really are an american which is ironic considering your post displays a lot of the qualities i dislike about america/americans. i think you're taking the piss to make americans look even worse than they actually are. if you're not though ....

1. plenty of other countries are multi-national and have diverse mixtures of cultures due to immigration. just because YOU can't see past your own damned borders doesn't mean there's not a whole big wide world out there and many of us doing just as well or better than you are!

2. americans are not the only ones helping with relief efforts in Haiti. countries from all over the world, rich and poor alike are contributing and doing what they can. just yesterday in fact, it was French and Greek nationals who pulled what might be the very last survivor out of the wreckage that is Haiti right now. and this was AFTER the rescue effort had been called off.

3. New Zealanders? still waiting for what? for our economy to collapse due to overspending? for our health system to fail us? for our education to become unaffordable? for our homeless masses to rise into the hundreds of thousands? for all our politicians to become corrupt and thrown into jail???? lol. nah ... we're not waiting for that. but we're watching a lot of it in another country. guess which one?

4. a lot of us sleep well because we're not continuously war-mongering. protect your own butt!

I dislike America always solving the problems of other countries with our taxes instead of using this money to solve ours...politicians should give us a better life with our money and care less about other countries.

If there a problem in a country, America sends 40,000 troops, air carriers, airplanes, ships, submarines, food, doctors, technology and the list keeps going....the rest of the world, 200 troops, 100 troops and in a few days and when problems get worse or an extremist says something, they run to their mamas as Spain did and many others, and let America alone to deal with the situation...you know why? because it's not THEIR PROBLEM, they REALIZE it, but AMERICA DOESN'T.

With all the money America spends and gives away around the world, America can pay all his financials debts, lower our taxes, even give us a free medic care and much more.

I would say, The uneducated are in postions that require education. it appears after talking with 7 college graduates last month, we can not hire a one of them all 7 scored below what I would say is acceptible for high school graduation, so I think lies will only take you so far. and the 7 resumes I got 4 never attended the schools they claim they graduated from. 2 had obvious lies, 6 claimed experience they could not elaborate on. and 6 failed the job function test of doing what they claim they do.
