Wouldn't work. You need 60 feet of water minimum. Some of the amphib ships should be able to do it.

Well, next time France has a disaster or war I'll be sure to let our government know not to help them with any "occupation."

A carrier only needs 60 feet of water? Not bad.

But what I was thinking was have the planes land on the carrier, then the they can be unlaoded and the smaller boats can haul the cargo back and forth.
