OK this is pretty funny in a way... It's mostly in German but it's clear to see what's happening - the guy operating the scanner seems to be from the company that builds them or sells them or something, he is speaking English (watch him try to make excuses!) you can hear some of what he says but it's being translated into German. At the end the large guy takes the 'explosives' outside to demonstrate them - more like a firework really but it gets the point across.

Can anyone who speaks German figure out what chemicals were used?

Very interesting clip - worth taking 10 mins to watch.

The "explosive" is Thermite made with aluminum and iron oxide. It does not explode but as seen in the video it burns at an extremely high temperature. Enough to burn a hole in metals like what an airplane is made of!

Hilarious. The scanner totally failed but he's trying to find excuses why it would work anyway.

Jeepers, looks like the frying pan suffered from thermal expansion.

Great stuff making a mockery out of this airport tech business sector boom. Their latest 'shoe bomberesque' false flag was such a mess up! Hahaha. On no fly list, check. Got explosives through, check. Fudged up coroborrating official story in regards to number of arrested people with multiple witness accounts, check.

Buy more tech, change more law... check?

Bull
the scanner guy says in an airport it would be a full body

the german guy says its a test

then they pull the stuff out

the guy says lets look back at he image

the host blanks him and a voice over is put in

lets look at the evidence

the guy had more than enough on him to prompt a body search

in my book the scanner is a sucess

I think so too. The tall guy with wearing the glasses is Wolfgang Bosbach he's the deputy leader of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), to sell the idea to the German public.
and you ask how I know this....I got waaaaaay too much time in front of my computer
